hello all i am posting this for windchaser a fellow board member, 17 years ago today she lost her son to death.
she is need of a little support and warmth.

Windchaser I am very sorry for your loss. I can't begin to imagine what it would be like, it hurts me to think about it.

i have been coming to this forum since around september 2001 and although i haven't had much to say i have gained a lot by just coming here and reading.
i have laughed and cried and got really angry along with posters here and have enjoyed most of my time here.
now i am moving to the country to be with my daughter and her kids and i won't have internet access there which is a good thing because it will get me out from behind this screen.

Went to Paula's tonight and we had so much fun. She finally got hooked back up to the internet so I am sure she will be posting soon. So much to do and with a new work schedule, she has a lot to balance to make it work. Today was her first day off since she started the training and certification. She volunteerd to work tomorrow so her next day off won't be until next week. She will then be on a set schedule.

ok everyone i'm pretty new here and here's my two cents... one thing i could not figure out was...what was the craze with bethelites ?
as a reg pioneer supposedly i was a lock for local sis..but from my point of view sisters practically fell over themselves trying to get a piece of these guys.. myself i was never one to let anyone go unoticed.. i was equal opprotunity..especially for the spanish sis's in the spanish cong..speaking of which have any of you guys ever been to one of the spanish conventions ?

i wrote to the united nations friday so that i could get the information about the watchtower's association with them from the proverbial horse's mouth.
i want to show my parents that what i'm saying about the watchtower is not just something we evil "apostates" made up.
what i received was the exact same letter that i've found on the web, but since these are addressed to me (addressed to my email addy) from officers in the un maybe they'll actually take a look.

I have been inactive for years, but this was a topic my sister brought to my attention last winter (along with some other issues), and she told me about this discussion forum. After two days sitting at the computer keyboard I finally got the courage to type in what I was looking for. Up until that time I still thought that the dubs had the truth....until I found out the truth about the dubs Hang in there, you never know what may get through to them.
writing should be for our own edification - a personal cleansing, therapeutic at the least.
if you write for other people's approval, you will be disappointed, especially when you share your thoughts on the 'net.
i've seen many folks get 'burn-out' from these boards b/c they don't get the expected respond to their post.

the other day while i was at a discount center, a little girl offered me a tract about jesus.
i looked at her and said, not today.
but i wuz tempted ta say that i am already a christian and believer in the blood of jesus.
That little girl also was trying to share her love of Jesus and reminding you of his sacrifice. Jesus loved children because of their pure hearts and took time to listen and talk to them. She was following his command to share the good news.

I just smiled and told her the town I last attended a KH at. She then told me the church she was affiliated with and said I just looked familiar. I was too embarrassed to tell her that I at one time had been a JW. I felt ashamed to have had such a backgound in that cult.
