I asked her JW friends not to come back after I found out some info out about my wife signing a legal document giving the KH legal powers..Unfortunately,..... They came back the very next week. I was nice however and offered to make tea for them... I really wanted to rim the cups with my finger after it had been somewhere unholy so they'd get a throat infection and never return...I am too nice however and did refrain from anything like that but the thought was there... I just want the WT out of our lives...

"Mentally Diseased" comment - help needed
by sizemik ina complaint regarding this comment was forwarded about a week ago to the nz human rights commission.. it was simply an email outlining the complaint and quoting the paragraph in question.. today i recieved a request for more information as follows .
my name is robert hallowell; i work at the human rights commission as its legal counsel.. .
thank you for your email of 14 september 2011. would you be able to send me a copy of the particular edition of watchtower or a copy of the article that you enquired about?.

Do you ever suffer from this in your sleep or is it just me?
by highdose inlast night at 2am i was awoken by the sound of cuboards in the room next to mine being opened and iteams falling out of them.
it terrifiled me, i lay awake listening further for hours in case the burgalars tried anything else.... when the morning came i went into that room, to find it all as it should be... nothing disturbed at all... no break in at all.. this has happened several times to me over the past few years.
no its not the neighbours i live in a deatched house.

by serenitynow! innext sunday is the discussion of the 7/15/2011 wt article about shunning.
i am planning to stand outside of a kh on a major street with a big banner that says that the jws do indeed destroy families with their shunning policy.
i will have many copies of the article that will be discussed that day.. anyone else have any plans?.

Use thier own tactics to get the message over!! I like the banner in the video. Religion is a snare and a racket.....It's sort of fitting. Getting at memebers or newbies in the JWs is a waste of time and OUTLAW is right...time for lunch. They won't listen,.... We all know that . I know that , My partner still puts her finger in her ears and goes LA !!!LA!!! LA!!! at the near mention of 1914 , the lies etc. Mind you, bringing up the dirt,... it's a good way to stop her trying to save me. I am getting no where in bringing awareness to her head however she is hooked.
The Jehovah Witnesses release DVDs showing how good they are..., they hand out leaflets, they question other groups to their validity of their stance. History shows us that even the old guy errmm,.....nearly forgot his name,... C.T.Russell used modern technology to get the message over. (well according to the DVD I watch he did). I knew about the Jehovah Witnesses long before any contact was made. Most folk know about the failed prophecies and the blood issues however they are easily convinced they are "not so" by JW contact. I don't see why the Watchtower shouldn't get a massive dose of its own medicine, and often, since they are so proud to boast how they brought about bible awareness at the start of the 20th century.
The biggest enemy to the Watchtower is modern media, especially the internet. The bonus of organising a fight and campaigning against an organisation on line is easily done. Businesses market their goods then have to sell them. Selling is the hardest part. Marketing is easy as it is about bring awareness about.
If there are videos on you tube , websites to direct folk to for quick information they are better informed. Information is the key . The internet is a massive information machine and people are using it regularly to get their info fixes... I would aim a campaign towards those who may be influenced by the JWs but not in the organisation and a little bit of research might well yield who these folk are demographically and geographically. The only issue I could see is finance......however if some finance is available ( through merchandising or donation) then there are some really effective methods in use today...Face book has advertsing at very cheap rates and it only takes making a page to start it off on there.... google will offer pay per click advertsing which is very effective. The hardest part of using these services is finding the right key words to direct the advert...
Anyway, there's my 2 pence worth....

former jw's all the time come here on this forum and others to hold the governing body accountable for teaching lies and holding on to a history, a tradition if you will, that embraces leaders like c t russell and j f rutherford, both of whom taught things that are almost entirely rejected by jw's today.

I agree,... all religions should be held accountable for past actions and theis should cover algovernments too.
With regards to the JWs.You need to look at the claims of the Watchtower and the accusations they themselves put out about other religions or better put...their competitors. I can think of 2 accusations off the top of my head. Religion is a snare and a racket is one slogan and ideal the WT use for starters.
The WT say they are the "one true religion" and anyone who is not with them is not going to live in paradise earth. In literature I have just glanced at , the Watchtower are very quick to point out the Roman Catholic churches' involvement with the third reich. The RC church were responsible for some horrifying attrocities done in the name of religion, and in the name of Satan.
Okay, we know about past but we are looking at now in the 21st Century. Whilst peadophiles are in the RC church we need to highlight that the JWs are no different. The same thing is going on. This intollerance and hypocracy being emmitted from the ones who can shout quite loud about human rights and religious freedoms are themselves bigots.
Atheism is a growing in the USA. The UK already are not accepting the church and the churches are suffering here. Porblem is you get rid of one bunch of marauding christians only to find the vacuum is being filled with another more extream sort with the same ideals and attitude to apostates and worldly folk who apparently are influenced by satan. I am very much an atheist after coming into contact with the JWs...the truth did come to light as I was forced to think about it. No God No DEvil and life is so quiet and more relaxed.

There are some excellent names on here!!.. Anyway, Mad Sweeney I have some books now that I am working through and slowly reading through them there are already some blocks that I am aware of. We have got to the stage which all has to be accepted now as I did too much damage earlier with my fury. I have backed off and she is telling me about the members so passively working it out whilst time flows by. Guys,.. I will post as things develop.

I saw a sad sight yesterday.
by wobble ini was strolling up our high street, trying to avoid the sally army chuggers, when coming towards me was an elderly lady, she suddenly approached a young lady and offered her a tract, the girl refused.. the old dear was weirdly dressed in very old-fashioned clothes that still screamed "pioneer",they can't have been exactly fashinable when they were new, she must have been in her seventies, but was weird looking, not helped by bright orange hair and very red lipstick, i checked, and she was holding the tract "you can trust the bible" (oh yea??).
i have not seen anyone doing street work for ages in our town, even she was not that dedicated, she dodged in to a charity shop and had a look at what was on offer,still counting her time i guess.. i thought of engagng her in conversation, but then i thought no, better to leave her in the cult, she will do more harm reinforcing the impression that jw's are a bunch of weirdos by her desultory street work than she would if she woke up and left the dubs.. years ago we used to get a bunch of young people together and we would all go in street work, and to the markets etc.
we used to make it fun, as much as we could.. now all they have as the public face of the jw's is a sad, weird old lady.. i think we shall see this more and more, the glory days are gone for the wt.. good..

I doubt there are any real figures...much depends on how they live and what demands are put on the planet. There are 6.5 billion on this planet and many cannot live together with any others...,Also, at the moment and consuming a fair amount of resources. We are already being warned to change our lifestyles.
If we lived a different way, many more could be accomodated but the whole of humanity needs to change otherwise we perish as our numbers grow.
