growing old in the watchtower's "spiritual paradise" really sucks!.

this is 2012 and i am a younger 'baby boomer' born 1957 so i am 55 years old.... in another 20 or 30 years tops i have this destiny along with every human being including millions of devout jehovah's witnesses.. there is no watchtower 'new system paradise' you will grow old and die.if there really is an apocalyptic event of armageddon jesus christ advent,it only means that the watchtower organization will be swept away along with all other false religion..

this morning i get a frantic call from my sister (who has been baptized 1 year and one month and never attends meetings anymore).

in tears she tells me that this morning my father picked her up in the car and told her that i was am apostate.

that i no longer loved jehovah and that i was going to be disfellowshipped.

afterfinding out that my soon to ve ex-husband's jw mom is deathly ill, and that he wont be visiting her ( she lives in anothrr country) after he made plans, i only assumed the jw conscience kicked in.

he must have been summarily disinvited by his father who initially called to inform him that his mother was crying to see him.

so here's tge email i wrote to his lazy obese brother: .

this is the exchange of text messages i had with my super spiritual brother.

it is sad... it is pathetic... it has helped me realize that i have no connection to these people anymore.

I understand your heart gets weak when you think of your dad, I have the same problem with my parents, they only call me for money - them and my JW brother, which called me yesterday and I haven't call him back yet because I know he wants to borrow money ... (I make them suffer a little first - he he he .. me bad) ...

If you decide to help your dad ... ask your brother to meet you halfway and both come up with 50/50 of the money your dad needs ...

OMG .... UNBELIEVABLE ... but yes ... KILL THIS WITH KINDNESS ... I am not being sarcastic, but you can share the following with them ...(I use this scripture a lot to remind my elderly patients that God will never leave them nor forsake them - of course they are all millionaires because they DID trust God and started saving for retirement long ago ... they are in ther 80s, 90s, and they still tithe, contribute to charities, etc).

Fading ... Do You Owe Witness Friends An Explanation?

i'm curious about what you all think on this subject.

when my husband and i became irregular about a year ago, and then inactive around 5 months ago, i felt that it would be hypocritical to take advantage of the social side of the witness community if we weren`t going to meetings or in service.

we stopped entertaining (which we did quite regularly - theme parties, card parties, movie nights, big turkey dinners, breakfasts on holidays etc), and i slowly stopped accepting invitations for get togethers, playdates etc.
