We all know the WT loves to discuss sciences failure to prolong life past 80 or 90 years. They say it every chance they get. In fact the new awake has it - http://www.jw.org/en/publications/magazines/g201308/how-long-can-you-live/

Interestingly, I had just found this article a day before I noticed the Awake regurgitation. Turns out science is currently studying a rare condition that seems to prevent aging. This article was fascinating. Give it a read.

Aubrey de Grey reckons we'll reach longevity escape philosophy in the next few decades. Probably the WT will come round to viewing this as our secular salvation. I already made a thread showing the connections and how this will work.

No science is necessary. The answer is very simple:

    It's Satan's fault.

The solution is even simpler: God will fix it.

When man starts thinking and becoming aware they eat from the tree of life.

Some of the old time Gods didn't want us to be aware they wanted us to be slaves.

Others led by Eniki wanted us to grow develop and become Gods.

    Eniki wants to empower mankind.

comatose - "Can science unlock the secret to aging?"

Aging is caused by the cells in our body losing the ability to keep reproducing themselves and replacing worn-out cells.

After a cell has subdivided 50 or so times, the telomerase "caps" on the ends of the chromosomes (in the nucleus) have worn down to a nub; the telomeres disintegrate, and the chromosome unravels, turning into gibberish (i.e. no more instructions on how to reproduce itself).

Find a way to prevent telomerase reduction in cell subdivision, and cells would (theoretically) keep reproducing themselves in perpetuity.

Yes, but it begs the questions: What about over population? Who really wants to live forever? How do you choose when you want to die?

See my thread for how the "overlapping generation" teaching is a reference to the end of aging in the near future. Many other secret features also explained therein.

When it gets to that point man can start colonizing other planets.

And then many can be God of their own planets and watch over the evolutionary process that occured here on earth.

Then for those who don't want to live forever there will always be suicide, guns, high buildings, bridges,

    fast cars and sharp turns.
