  i found this old favorite song of mine.

  take it for what it's worth.

  a day-brightener, yes, a cure-all, no.. this beautiful song was used as background music in one of charlie chaplin's silent pictures over 70 years ago, which i believe was called "modern times".

  Marijuana...should it be legalised?

  after talkin in chat tonight....it has got me and a friend talkin about whether marijuana should be legalised.. my view...yes, .

  i) who has the right to tell me what to do with my own body?.

  ii) alcohol is a legalised drug....each year more deaths occur through alcohol abuse than marijuana usage.. iii) people smoke it anyway and the question is not bein addressed.. iv) it's great to get stoned!!!

  I agree with Englishman, smoking is stupid.

  But, the actual weed if consumed in another way, would be more beneficial for things like depression than those stupid synthesized chemicals I get prescribed.

  I say legalise it. It would also cut out much of the unnecessary prison sentences for people caught with it for personal use. Its not a bad drug like alcohol.

  If it was legal then I would take it, but I wouldnt smoke it.

  Prisca, I hear you, I was only attending for a short while, and 1 CO and 1 DO were both sick, the CO had a heart attack not long ago, the new CO seems healthy, but im unlikely to hear otherwise now they shun me (and i wasnt even a member)

  there have been reports over time that each kingdom hall keeps a "do not call" list of addresses.

  these are addresses in the congregation's territory where, for one reason or another, the jws in the field service are advised not to make calls.

  how would the attendees at at Kingdom Hall Sunday WT study react if a band of opposers or apostates came knocking on the door halfway through the meeting? And what if the number of those knocking was twice the number inside the Kingdom Hall?

  and we enjoyed the visits.
