What action should I take with my favorite cousin who is very condescending?
by RULES & REGULATIONS ini think i had enough of my cousin!
i'm planning to cut him from my life.
this is a cousin who has complained to me the last 10 years about his wife,kids,work and troubles with his brother and father.

Hi one thing I think of or walk away with from that (btw i liked it) Is some witnesses treat the name jehovah as an incantation and if i prayed to my god to protect me why would i a puny human have to remind him when scared. I got distracted a little with my son while listening so i hope Im not to far off topic.

or they just cant find the word to say, or they mosly like reading but not commenting.
and some subjects ive read that have had many comments compared to others are just plane stupid as hell.

Just had a JW lady at the door and boy can she lie or has no clue!

i had just posted a sarcastic question on pc's thread about last nights call with the six screens folks when the door bell rang.
it was a jw lady and she was by herself.

Slandered At the Circuit Assembly & My Letter To My Mother
by headisspinning inon saturday, my ex husband went on the platform at the one day circuit assembly and slandered me in front of 800+ people.. my jw family is even up in arms because he basically lied and ruined any last bits of my reputation that i had left, the worst part is this was elder sanctioned.. i am really exhausted from all the upheaval so i will get right to the point.

I'm so sorry to you and hubby(steve right). That's should be proof enough that there is no holy spirit backing that org.. You have been thru a lot. I thought vengence belonged to god. The witnesses forget that at convenient times. I thought i was gossiped about but they did you dirty from the platform. please take care and hopefully you live in a big enough area you can not have to see any dubs for a while.

Struggling
by anniegirl76 ini have been df-ed for almost 9 years.
just out of curiosity, has anyone decided to find another religion or belief after being jw?
i struggle with my feelings, my mom and brother, aunt, cousins are all jw.

welcome I might add that if you research the wbts thru here or various other resources. not slanted to the watchtower you will see it is not the truththat being said if it aint the truth it's a waste of your time. i know its scary and difficult but one step at a time and our support you'll find your way. and it may also be hard to loose family but as most jw's do to df'd family they may have already left you. I preferr non-denom best you'd be surprised. its really more about the association with me and i am still a christian actually a real one now. hang in there

Most humiliating...
by Igot2bme ini was at home this morning typing up a couple legal documents for some general contractors to sign that were going to be doing some tree removal on my property, when i get a visit from a sister in the hall i used to attend.
she usually stops by at least once a week.
i haven't been to meetings for over a year now and didn't attend memorial this year, but she was quick to remind me how i missed out.

Right as if because you don't believe there most be something wrong with you. Like they're thinking maybe you don't get it I'll explain it slower this time. But really they don't get it. Just think there is 7million of them not all that intense but most thinking they're right and everyone else wrong living a fantasy. Most of us did to some degree. But it is insulting they keep telling you aboot your sty while they're rafter is unmistaking.

i have been studying with the jw's for over a year now, and attended 2 memorials and the district/assembly conventions.
at first, and up until very recently i truly believed what i was learning was the truth.

researching this really gave me the huevos to leave the borg. IT WAS A CROSS AND IT DOES MATTER COMPLETELY. They don't get it ugh!
