Never had to deal with apostasy case. For over 20 years it was sex-murder cases. Back in the late 70's when I was a MS we had a elder and MS and their families get DF for apostasy. That really caused a stir. Totally ADD

by Mickey mouse inwhen you had to deal judicially with cases of apostasy, did it ever pique yout curiousity?
did anyone ever tell you about something they had learned that shocked you and made you investigate for yourself?.

Nov.15th WT - WT Society Wants & Needs Elders- Not very High Standards
by flipper inas many of us realize- times are hard for the wt society getting men to " reach out " for an elders or ministerial servants position as young men aged ( 18-35 ) are opting out of doing that due to the pressure they are under from the wt society leaders and just that it takes up too much valuable time where men could be earning a living and helping their own families instead of a thankless magazine printing corporation.
in the article " train others to reach out " in this issue it has lots of strange, controlling, yet perplexing statements which i'm sure will confuse jw men who are considering " reaching out ".
in fact, i think this article will discourage more than encourage them from doing so.. on pg.

Hi flipper. It's been awhile. I have been very busy working on my business. All I can say is you need to know more to open up a donut business and run it than to be a elder or MS. They deal with people lifes all I do is make donuts. LOL This problem started back in the 90's and is getting worse for the WT cult. The smart ones know better than to reach out. Totally ADD

Glad to see 2075 is the date God takes care of business. I will be 121 years old then. I hope I will be able to understand whats going on when it happens. I am sure if you write to the WT about this book they will be able to use it to set a new date for all the cult victims to live for. Stay alive until 2075. Totally ADD

Today's Watchtower Lesson Really Bothered Me...
by dontplaceliterature ini was a hair away from telling my wife i never wanted to go to the kingdom hall again after today's watchtower.
the conductor mentioned something along the lines of..."if you think having to shun your disfellowshipped children is bad...you should read up on the israelites.
when one of their children was disobedient to the law, they had to take the before the judges so that they could be stoned to death...and guess who's job it was throw the first stone?".

Godd questions Glander. Yes it was not a food place before. The concrete work is because the entrance sidewalk was all heaved up and for me to get insurance it needed to be replaced. The only trenching will be about 1 1/2 ft. deep and 10 foot long for a new sewer pipe I have to put in a new hani-capp bathroom. It already has power with a 200 amp. box. I just have to redesign some of it to meet my needs and no I do not need a class I exhaust hood just a standard exhaust fan to get the heat out from the oven. I was offered a new restaurant equipment package with everything I needed for $120,000. To much for my blood so my wife and I hit the internet and used equipment companies and auctions. We now have all our equipment and signs (which is above the cost of the equipment). All for about $19,000. We still need a few things but not much. A little elbow grease and paint gives you almost like new stuff. To all of you I wish I could send you some donuts. You will all just have to come and visit us. Today I am feeling much better ready to go out and hurt myself again. LOL Totally ADD

Some snot nosed dubbie.....
by watersprout intoday carrot phoned really angry, one of his customers saw him and said ''oh carrot i haven't seen you in a while (carrot does window cleaning on a weekend to bump up wages.. gotta love being uneducated) i saw that younge man that used to work with you and i asked him if he had seen you and he told me that he was taking over your work, as you weren't doing it anymore''... carrot was like wtfrick!!!!
he explained to his customer that ''no, i am still your window cleaner and i will be round next week''... anyway the customer was really angry as carrot is very well respected by his customer base.
she said that she would be phoning this snot nosed dubbie and telling him she doesn't want him anywhere near her windows.... lol.

Nothing new under the sun. I cannot begin to tell you how many so called JW freinds through the years have stolen work from me or bounce checks on me for work I did for them or lied to elders about jobs I did for them. The worst was ones who came in after they retired and got baptize because they did not want to be bother by the WT when they were working. They would steal candy from your baby at the hall and make it out like it was yours baby fault. My wife and I had to go on food stamps back in the mid 70's because of a elder stealing work from me. When I confronted him his excuse was he needed the work more than I did. The only thing that makes me mad about all this is "Why didn't I wake up then?" I was just to deep into it I quess. after experiencing some troubles with man-made rules (non-scriptural, told me that i absolutely could not join my small school's football team) in the kingdom hall when i was about 16, i stopped going to take a step back and look at what was going on.

Welcome bushido8000. I understand were you are coming from. I to at one time thought they were 99% right about the Bible. But then I step back and looked at how they have twisted their teachings to fit their actions. Also I looked deeper into what the definition of the word cult meant. Thats when I had to overhaul my thinking about what the WT is all about. This took alot of time and convincing on my part to finally realize they are a cult. This concept at first is hard to swallow but if you remain opened minded you will soon find that is exactly what they are. Then and only then you have to decide which direction you want to go. It's a long and sometimes a hard journey but in the long run it will make a better person out of you. Thank you for sharing your concerns with us. Take care. Totally ADD

my purpose at the time was a study on comparative religion, which i eventually became a student of in full practice.
of all the organizations i met with, the witnesses were the most friendly at first, welcoming me to ask many questions about the bible.

Welcome to the forum MoneurMallard. Very interesting first post. The questioning thing with the elders is a sure fire way of making them feel very uneasy. When it comes to history all they have to fall back on is what the WT cult has taught them. So when you bring out certain pinpoint thoughts about what you know through your studys they don't realy know how to respond except to fall back on the WT cult dogma. Thank you all for all the good advice. This morning I woke up feeling a little better than yesterday. Two asprin is all I need now to get me started. I forgot all about the ben gay which of course is ben hurs homosexual brother. LOL No offense to anyone. I heard that joke by Red Buttons about 40 years ago and always thought it was funny. See the pain is going away and my mind is now back to a normal wrapness. Today I will begin to tackle the electric. Hopefully by the end of the week I will get all the rough in plumbing installed.
