If the WTS takes action against those who spread false statements against them, why then aren't they exposing the "lies" spread by the mentally diseased apostates?

Help! I'm having serious thoughts about going back
by lola28 inhello old friends, i've been thinking about going back and need you all to give me your thoughts on it.. the last year has been a horribe one for me, in the span of less than a year the following things have happened to me:.
lost my mom to cancergot hit by a carhad a professional set back that will cost over 600k to resolveended a three and a half year relationshipit just feels like every time i think things are going to get better something else hits me and knocks me down, a small part of me wonders wether i brought all these things on myself because i left the organization (yes i know how silly that sounds) and i have given serious thought about going back.
i need you guys to talk me out of it!.

During my most active period as a JW I lost my dad and 5 of my closest friends within a 5 year period. The company I worked for close our division and lost a 6-figure job after over 25 years of service...The comfort I got from the congregation was "suck it up" and keep busy in service so you won't have time to feel sorry for yourself...don't you believe in the resurection? Everyday morning on my way to a new job that Jehovah blessed me with I was hoping to get killed in a car accident so I wouldn't have to live another day in pain...where was the big Armagedon when you need it? Then when I was told that the generation was really generationsssss, I left the cult. My life is far from being perfect, but the freedom has made every new day worth living. There is no situation that would ever make me want to go back under the control of such a cult.

South Australian Judge Saves Life of Young Girl By Ordering Blood Transfusion
by cedars inthis story has been brought to my attention, and i thought i would share it with you all.. a very poorly young jehovah's witness girl in south australia has been ordered to have a blood transfusion.
the court heard that the girl, who suffers from leukaemia, would die "within weeks" if she were deprived of the life-saving treatment.. the parents appear to have put up a tacit fight for their rights to be respected, but their solicitor made some telling remarks when he said:.
"it's not like they are acting with callous disregard for her wellbeing or her future,".

The conversation would go that way:
Dad: We loved you so much that we did all we could for you not to have a blood transfusion, leaving you in the care of Jehovah...
Daughter: But dad, what were my chances of survival if I didn't receive the blood?
Dad: The doctors said that you would die within a few weeks, but they don't count on Jehovah's help...
Daughter: What your are telling me is that we wouldn't be having this conversation if the authorities didn't intervene?
Dad: But we would have been reunited in resurection!
.....a few months later....
Daughter: I no longer believe in the WT...
Dad: We will shun you because we love you...and we want you back....

Judge Orders Transfusion for Jehovah's Witness Girl with Cancer
by ZeusRocks inhere's a link to the story from last night.. http://www.news.com.au/national/judge-forces-jehovahs-witness-parents-to-allow-transfusions-for-daughter-with-cancer/story-e6frfkvr-1226380955006.
i'm so glad i never needed one as a child.
even as an adult i still believed everything taught, but i think if faced with an early death, i would have caved and had a transfusion if it was deemed necessary for my survival.. i think even though the parents of this girl gave the standard jw response when questioned, i can't help but think they must feel at the very least, a little relieved that the decision is now out of their hands.

Great news because this little girl is given a chance at life...a few years from now she may even thank the judge that ordered the blood transfusion! A few months ago I read a news article that was linked to one post from this site where an ex JW seeked out the lawyer that petition the court on her behalf when she was just a baby in need of medical treatment her JW parents would authorize. Some 30 years after the fact she was able to express her gratitude to the lawyer who cared enough to save her life...
A few years ago a WT lawyer gave a public talk in our congregation, relating the heroic display of faith of Bethany Hughes, a teenager who refused blood transfusion on religious grounds...we even heard a recorded interview of Bethany. Today I sympathize with her father who left the faith and desperately attempted to withdraw his daughter from the grip of the WT cult to save her life. But he had no chance because the mother and very present WT lawyer made sure she wouldn't disapoint them....and Jehovah of course....

You can take your three day quickbuild and shove it...
by Aaron Eldridge inthere is a christian organisation that builds churches in one day, oddly enough they are called church in a day.
so much for the quickbuild being used as proof of god's divine order working through the organisation.. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2012/05/29/faithful-volunteers-build-church-in-one-day-in-iowa/.

Our quick-build hall dating 1987 is full of mold because it was built in the rain...and after a cosmetic renovation all they did is to cover up the mold with paint and wallpaper...$50K wasted. After 3 weeks the novelty had already wore off and the general look of the KHall still was outdated...
