by JW72 inregarding war and killing and justice:.
i think the problem lies in what people 'believe in'.. if you believe in any kind of after-life, you have a certain safety net that allows you to be extra peaceful and in a sense say 'it doesn't matter if i die because i'll be dying for my faith and i know i'll be reunited with my family'.. but, what about those of us who don't believe in an after-life, this world is all we have.. it is so unfair to expect us to sit back and peacefully protest and die in doing so.. it's all about whether you believe there is more than just this 'system' to look foreward to.

I'm not a B****** but.........
by JW72 inhi all, i split up with my girlfriend today.. i want to know if i am right in my decision.. we lived in the same flat for 2 years, fairly good relationship.
she went to brussels to study in the european community for 6 months.
i waited for her return, patiently.

Indoctrinated from birth
by JW72 inis it really expected that people from other religions listen to jw's with an open-mind?.
i saw a programme on t.v today about muslims and one bit showed the kids chanting, 'there is no other god to answer to other than allah'.
how can these kids possibly contemplate any other religion.

If God wants us to 'find' him, why doesn't he make it a little easier?
by JW72 inhi all, i was just wondering today, which seems to take up a lot of my time these days.. .
if god wants us to 'find' him, why doesn't he make it a little easier??.
it seems to me that there are a lot of very 'good' people who have their own religion or people like myself who try to 'find' him but are not willing to blindly have 'faith', and i'm sure there are a lot of you here who are like me in that respect.. .

Women and Christianity
by JW72 inhi everyone.. as some of you may have noticed, i have posted on this subject before, but it does plague my mind sometimes.. it just boggles me, why women would want to worship god after all the suffering that he(that says it all!
) has set out for them, be it period pain, pregnancy pain, not forgetting the lead up to birth and the after-birth trauma, also problems with the womb before menapause, which can be horrendous(hysterectomy etc.)..
also the fact that they were created for men is something that i cannot believe women put up with.. if you are a christian women, you have to believe that that is your role and you deserve all that suffering.. come on women!!!!

by JW72 inhi everyone.. i'm sorry that it has taken me so long to remember this, but i've been reading through the bible and it suddenly clicked, it was me that inspired it.. i must have completely forgotten.. sorry for any confusion that may have been caused.. love.

That age-old classic......
by JW72 inmy dad had a visit from the co today(great!)..
i overheard(cough cough) them talking and i heard the co say "...yes they have made 5 or 6 errors of judgement, but as long as you know that it is the truth, this should not be a stumbling block for you".. needless to say, my dad whole-heartedly agreed, aaagggghhhh!!!!..
my dad went on to say that it doesn't matter what 'errors' are brought to his attention, it does not matter because he knows the 'nuts and bolts of it' are truth.. my question is, does it matter??.
