  Last night's meeting

  my son had a talk last night, so i had the priviledge of trudging off to another meeting.

  the bible section being considered at the present time is isaiah 19-26. much to my surprize, i learned that the society is prefigured in at least two places in these few chapters.

  they consider themselves the "watchman" class, as well as the "eliakim" class, with the poor old clergy of christendom relegated to the mere "shebna" class.. this correspondance of the society to virtually everything in the bible is getting sickening already.

  the one thing that jws claim is the love they have for one another.

  i am well aware of some of the things that have been done in the congregation for members and i believe real love was shown.

  in times of natural disaster jws have been very good at caring for their own.

  I'm sorry to hear about your financial hardship you are now going through besides the emotional abuse by that "lovin" jw family. I hope you will be able in the future obtain the money that is owed you.
  Please know that we are here to help you work through all the emotions you must be going through, widow, single parent, leaving a mind control group, money "stolen" from you. Sometimes just talking with others who understand helps clear the air for you to put things in order of priority. I'm glad you found this place and please feel free to jump in with your knowlegde and experinces in life.

  in a certain circuit, all elders are jerks.. 1/2 of all the ministerial servants are also jerks.. 1/2 of all the jerks in that circuit are elders.. there are 40 elders are 46 ministerial servants.. no elder is a ministerial servant.. 1/2 of the number of jerks who are not elders or ministerial servants are pedophiles.. how many pedophiles are there in that circuit?.

  My Father Died

  i just found out my father died today...he had a heart attack in the middle of the night.

  he was 63, one month shy of his 64th birthday.

  my 1/2 brother, age 19, who has been living with him trying to get off drugs, found him in his bed.

  Is this world ruled by Demons and are we?

  to me, one of the most pathetic and lamest of all watchtower teachings is the fantasy that satan and the demons rule the world.

  the witnesses are terrified of these demons getting into their minds through everything from wearing old clothes bought at the thrift store to smoking cigarettes (remember all drugs give demons easy access to your mind.).

  they would have you believe that each country on earth is controlled by really big mean and tough demons (hey demons cant be nice you know) and they are actively controlling the minds of the political leaders in a global chess game because they have nothing better to do.. i was wondering then if anyone can show me a single itsy bitsy tiny amount of evidence to show any credible physical evidence or logical/metaphysical reasoning to back the jw ideological boogey men.

  Golden Age on CD

  i have just received my copy of golden age scans for 1919-1924 on cd.

  the cd contains actual scans of old golden age magazines, so that you can view the idiocy for yourself.

  without a doubt, the golden age was a huge step backwards for a group that was already intellectually challenged.

  at least my son and i did, i'm assuming the rest of ya'll did too .

  for those of you who weren't there you'll never guess what happened at the restaurant.

  were there talking about various things mostly related to our shared watchtower experiences and our waitress walks up behind me and taps me on my shoulder and asks if i'm a witness.

  Flower, glad you guys had a good time.

  Don't dwell on what you could have/should have said to your waitress. Having a good time with new friends was the reason for getting together.

  Can't wait to meet you this summer and create our own fun memories!
