  On-line study programs

  i haven't been a student since high school.

  so, i'm a bit nervous getting back into the swing of things.

  there is a course of study i'm interested in, and they offer an on-line program.

  Depends. I find that many communities colleges offer the exact same courses online for much much cheaper.

  so my lovely wife still determined to give to the wts when she goes to the convention is pissing me off.

  Rip out a check before she does and when she ask you were check so and so is tell her you ripped it out to make the donation. Cash it at the grocery store or bank for cash just in case she follows up and say you were by the bank and just wanted to give cash. Lie Lie Lie the foundation of every long lasting marriage I know of.

  My insane JW friend takes me to lunch...

  yesterday, i get a call at work from my old jw buddy, who btw doesn't know my true feelings on religion.

  he offers to buy lunch so we go to a local burger joint, sit down, and start swapping stories like always.

  we see each other once or twice a week, share many common interests, and generally get along well.

  I agree with Sirona.. I think as long as you agree with doctrine all is forgivable as long as you come to them and confess. The fact that he came and confessed so much was proof he was repentant in their minds.

  parents went to a jw gathering to read the wt for this week.a jw said that only 5 people out of 125 in my congo will survive armageddon and then that elder said: "no,not 5 people,maybe 20".

  something about armageddon being further away than thought?

  Whenever they change position on something or someone brings up that the JW's used to smoke, celebrate Xmas and other things, the excuse was always that the "light would get brighter as we get closer to the end". It's a nifty was of saying that God is making them purer and more correct as armageddon get's closer.

  I just read your bio, sounds like this is all fresh for you. Sorry about your sis.

  this is the first study article from the april 15, 2010 watchtower, titled "young people - strengthen your desire to serve jehovah.

  " i hit paragraph four and i just had to pause to comment.

  i am pretty darn sure this is a softening of the jehovah's witness stance regarding the appropriate age for baptism.

  i haven't climbed any water towers with a sniper rifle... did get way drunk after sushi last night, oh that shit sucks... the sushi.. peed in a park, told my sh*tty girlfriend some crazy shit on the text.... been writing and sleeping all day... i guess in other words i am leveling off.

  i need to hit the gym but probably won't do that till tommorow... lol..
