Do we have consensus that Mr Jackson was wearing a gold Apple Watch?
by StarTrekAngel ini mean, we have discussed mr morris' "rolex" but many also pointed out to the potential for a knock-out.
i don't think there are apple watch knock outs out there, are they?

The trouble with the video is we don't know the light hue in GJ's room. On video a chrome watch will look gold under warm tone light such as a tungsten filament or warm LED, in the same way a gold watch can look silver under a cold hue light such as white LED of flourescent. -

Not an expert on Apple watches like I am with Rolex - It does look like an apple watch, whether or not it is the Edition (the solid gold one) can not be ascertained from the video as the picture quality is poor. -

Life after the witnesses, friends, faith etc
by Theburstbubble inhi everyone, this is my first post so go easy on me :) i have been a witness all of my life (i'm 37) and truly believed it until 3 years ago.
my husband and i had become spiritually weak and over time i began to question more and more until i came to the conclusion that the witnesses were not the true religion but just one of many religions and that if god is there then there are many paths to get to him.
anyway, i've battled with keeping going as my husband still believed and i didn't want to be in a divided household as we have a young daughter and thought it would be very confusing for her (and us).

Welcome.
My wife and I left in our 40's after both being brought in the cult. Our whole social network was JW, I even worked for a JW owned company staffed primarily by JW's. We started making new friends within the Ex-JW community. We also gained lots of support form neighbours and others in our local village. It takes time but eventually you will replace your conditional JW friends with those that are unconditional and who genuinely for you. "Worldly" people are authentic people, not the synthetic drones found in your local Kingdom hall.

by EdenOne inhere's john oliver's take on how easy it is for religions to fleece vulnerable people in the us.
i had a few good laughs, but it's seriously disturbing at the same time.
read the article, but don't miss the video, it's hilarious.. john oliver sets up his new church.

I am glad you mother did the right thing in the end. Reading your account however, makes feel so angry. This cult is so cruel, unloving and despicable it should have it's charitable status revoked immediately.

Why Jehovah Does Not Want An Effective Preaching Work
by konceptual99 inso we all know how ineffectual the preaching work really is.
we also know how much the wts hypes up the scope and scale of the global preaching effort.
what the gb should be doing however is emphasising the ineffectiveness of the preaching work.

First of all congratulations on your awakening at such a young age, also on avoiding baptism, as other had said, don't get dunked!
Work out your path, enjoy your life, make great friends.

As a Matter of Conscience, I Am Resigning from the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses
by Sail Away inafter listening to the hearings of the australian royal commission into institutional responses to child sexual abuse, i am no longer content to have simply walked away from the organization.
as a matter of conscience, i do not want my name linked with the organization in any way.
i know this letter has been posted previously, and i thank the author.

Well done, for for making the break. Welcome to the world of unconditional friendships and real humanity. Sadly you will lose the friendship of brainwashed cult members including family members and those you thought would stick by you. Don't let the bastards grind you down! -

So I was enjoying a business trip in down town Bangkok...............Next thing BANG!!!
by cantleave inso last night i was having a wonderful meal in a very nice restaurant when we heard what we thought was a loud clap of thunder.................. it was a bomb.
yards from my hotel.
thankfully i made a few decision that meant i wasn't in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I am now far enough from the centre of Bangkok to feel safe. The Thai police have CCTV surveillance of the suspected bomber, so hopefully they will catch him.
Perry read a bloody science book and not a book of fairy tales to get a grip on reality!
