  The LDS coming clean has to do with power and money. They desperately want more members in high political office, the presidency if possible. For decades now the LDS has been encouraging its young people to join the FBI and CIA, there is a recuiting office on BYU. The LDS know the formula- were power lies money lies and vis versa.

  The Wt. Leaders are puny in comparision. No mass generation of college grads, no self made universities for that matter so no future think tank of worldly leaders in the pipeline. JWs will fade from the history books within this century while the LDS are planning to actually run their version of the Kingdom on earth from aa capital in the US (that's in their own writings).

  If Morris grew up in the Knorr and Franz era he got brainwashed against 'perceived' homosexual behaviors. Knorr would rant for hours that masturbation was a homosexual act and when oral and anal sex were DFing offenses it was Knorr who said these were homosexual acts even if done by married couples.

  this book can literally be used to fit whatever agenda you have!

  you can pull a scripture from here or there and apply it to what you want to do or what your agenda is.

  Is the WTS effectively 'pimping out' sisters?

  i can't remember the topic with the discussion about the talk where they suggested that sisters should only consider ministerial servants as potential marriage partners but think about the implications more.. are they trying to use the potential affections of sisters to enourage brothers to do more and work harder?.

  isn't this a form of 'pimping out' the sisters by limiting their attention to the people contributing to them?.

  it seems to cross a line to me but i guess it's not vastly different to "only marry another jw".. what do you think?.

  Does having priveleges in the congregation mean you will have a successful marriage?

  after reading about tight pant tony's rant about sisters only marrying ministerial servants lest their marriage will be a failure what anecdotal evidence do you have to support this.

  the divorces that i am familiar with in the congregation show me that having priveledges in the congregation do not improve the odds of a better marriage.

  i would say about 60% of the divorces had at least one spouse who was a pioneer, elder or ministerial servant.
