You cant be DFed or DA if you no longer want to participate in the religion ie. stop going all together.
My advise just to make it easier on yourself just bow out quietly and respectfully.
i just woke up and i'm new on here.
if your an unbaptized publisher can you be disfellowshipped or dissociated?

i`ll list a few things and welcome any input, comments you may have .. 1.when adam & eve "sinned" disobeyed him, surely god could have handled it better than to condemn all future generations to disease and death ?.
2.his handling of satan who supposedly seduced eve to disobey god could also have been done a lot differently with a finality to it.. 3.i find little if anything in his dealings with the patriarchs that suggests a loving god protecting them.?.
4.taking on the nation of israel and leading them as his chosen people does not inspire confidence or trust as a god of love.. 5.throughout the hebrew scriptures / old testament his chosen people were constantly at war with other nations which of course would have meant many deaths of the israelite`s during these battles .and the grief that comes with family members in those times.
The envisioned gods from ancient civilizations had many variations of character some were powerful and vengeful some were loving, giving even motherly in character.
They had one thing in common though is that they were constructs of imagination and ignorance expressed by humans who were enduring ignorant of the world in which they lived .
Human ignorance is an indefensible fact.
my cousin has been in a medically induced coma for the last three weeks due to the coronavirus.
we just found out today that he was sent to rehab for physical therapy.
he is awake, cannot walk, and cannot talk due to damage to his vocal cords from being on a ventilator for three weeks.. my cousin has many religious friends who have posted ''get well soon'' messages on his facebook page.
Talking to ancient mythological creatures isn't going to do anything but give a momentary relief of stress and anxiety.
Nature is the god of the universe and we have to deal with the best we can, such as battling contagious health destroying viruses.
do you have any evidence that the gb had bad intent?
as opposed to blind faith/cognitive dissonance and honest mistakes.. i'm inclined to think they have the best of intentions and are just wrong (primarily because the bible is wrong), but i'm willing to consider the evidence otherwise..
Good point Jeff to add to that the top leaders of the WTS weren't delusional about their perceived awareness of power and money they held in their hands and the control they had over people, that energized them even more to sustain and extend what they had, which included lying and bullshitting to the body of members . ie.1975
Much of the personal stature and identity of these men were composed of self glorification, the most righteous among men, god's own chosen ones
quite the contravening question to contemplate for any self avowed devoted jws, which no doubt takes some uncomfortable thinking to consider.. yes back in 1919 the then president of the jws j. rutherford proclaimed that the organization (ibsa, jws) had been selectively chosen by jesus for their unique preaching and evangelical work.. there had already been a proclamation by the past leader of the (wts) ibsa c. russell that he was the faithful slave doing the lords work, will and purpose, but his professing doctrines were also false bible interpretations based upon the theology of pyramidology.. might it be that these men made these proclamations out of the intent of self validating themselves and the literature that they had published and were trying to proliferate ?
making these kind of claims was easy since there was no higher governing body to evaluate these men's endeavors from a theological standing, the american government had opened the door for any individual's self expression of a religious nature.
so anyone in that country could build up their own religoius following unimpeded, even more so if that religion was christian based.. so the real critical question remains how or why would jesus pick these men when their doctrines were so obviously false and probably devised more so from a commercialization agenda ?.
A WT answer would be because they had honest hearts and were seeking the correct doctrines although they had not yet worked it all out.
It would appear that the WTS heads weren't seeking out bible truths in reflection of the organization persistent Jesus has returned (1914) Armageddon soon doctrines which were proliferated all throughout the 20th century.
They had the true heart of commercialization comprised of building up their own power and money as an established religious publishing house, the proclamation of them being god's selectively chosen ones was just a self supporting marketing gimmick or strategy to lure people to their literature and the organization.
Want to understand and truthfully interpret the bible the word of god , come to us and will show and tell you, its all in are literature.
my sister sent me this text a few minutes ago.
what does she know about my relationship with jehovah?
it was followed up by a bunch of links to jw org problem is dialog is not possible her side is the only one to be heard.
The person who sent that e-mail is disingenuous in making themselves sound so loving and concerned, but in reality they are indoctrinated to sell their religious beliefs especially to ones who were once in the JWS religion .
You could reply that you've taken a different stance on religion all together willing to respect those who have beliefs. Ask if they still wanted to meet and catch up.
Wait for a reply, if they want to meet still on a real personal level without religious chatter great.,if not the e-mail was fake and insincere .

I personally contemplated that question myself before leaving the JWS entirely.
does anyone know of any covid-19 diagnoses within any bethels/branches/remote translation centers?.
it would be interesting to see what the gb's policy is when this happens.
i suppose it's bound to happen sooner or later..
If there were you can bet the GB heads will stop any information coming forward to the rest of the JWS body of members.
Jehovah protects his chosen earthly ones, you know.
scholars generally agree that it was written between the 7th and 4th centuries bce, with the 6th century bce as the most likely period for various reasons.
the book of job .. so according to jw`s about 6,000 years ago satan rebelled against jehovah god ,did jehovah disown him there and then shunning him ?.
apparently not as we can read from the book of job centuries later that satan could still come and go freely before the throne of jehovah in heaven .job 1: 6. and apparently he could still do this for centuries later ,that is coming to and fro before jehovah because according to the jw religion he wasn`t cast out of heaven for another 2,000 years until the 20th century .. now in the case of jesus much of what is said about jehovah and satan also applies to jesus before he came to earth.. but even when he was on earth he didn`t shun satan either in fact he allowed satan to lead him around according to the bible account.luke 4:13 so the devil having concluded all the temptations retired from him until another convenient time .so it wasn`t jesus calling the shots here it was satan .. mark 1: 13 he ,jesus, also shared 40 days in the wilderness with satan letting him tempt him .. so their was no way either jehovah or jesus ever shunned satan the devil according to the bible writings.. and when jesus ascended to heaven after his sacrifice he along with his father jehovah still had association with satan the devil until he was cast out of heaven 2,000 years later ,according to the jw`s..
it's only about loyalty to an organization--has nothing to do with god!
The JWS heads (GB) claim to be god's spiritually chosen ones, so to object to their expressed doctrines (bible interpretations) is in kind objecting to god Jehovah an act of apostasy.
Likewise the ancient Hebrew high priests could have one of their citizens killed for acts of apostasy if the person was persistent .
A semblance of power and control supports those men who are at the the top of the power structure which can be seen in most organized religions.
Do to the human species in growing large brains through biological evolution we have the capacity to both imagine and envision supernatural beings without any physical evidence.
Are past ancestors imagined various select gods from various civilizations to which some were even said to talk and communicate to the people who worshiped these specific gods.
