if a person doesn't go to meetings nor in the field service, he's considered "inactive".
an inactive person is not an apostate.
if an inactive person joins a forum like this one, he is automatically considered an apostate by the watchtower org.
In my experience, which of course is vast and all encompassing, just about anyone that leaves the org. is automatically under suspicion of being an apostate. The very minute I mentioned to my family my doubts and concerns about the Watchtower org...I was labeled a "demonized apostate" and immediately shunned.

i have been so sadend by finding this site and wanted you all to know that the organization is indeed a loving one with only your best interests at heart...but i'm sure, if you look deep within your hearts you already know this to be true...dont you?.
if you search your inamost thoughts and feelings and put away your debeauched/immoral life style ( because if you are truly honest with yourselves, guilt is the reason you needed to distance yourselves from righteousness) and come back to the truth you will see that only kind, loving and overwhelming compassion has always been at the forefront of the wtbts and that although you may feel contentment in a (deluded sort of way) you would have a real happiness within the true christian organization...as your former bible trained concience must know... all others that profess to be 'christian' are satanicly influenced even though they may appear to do good/kind things....how else would the last days of satans system be?.
so i urge all the 'lost sheep' to 'find the love you had at first' and return to the loving compasionate embrace of the organization....you know this makes sense!!!!
Naughty, naughty, naughty. You managed to raise my blood pressure pretty good.
But welcome aboard and now I'm gonna have to keep my "eye" on you!!! Be warned!

just wanted to say hello to everyone on this forum.
i've "lurked" for quite some time, thought it was time make my first post.
my story is long and boring and too complicated to remember so the short version is this:.
Welcome exjwshell!!!
Always good to have another "Wisconsinite" aboard.
Cathy L.
this is my first forum post though i've been out here reading yours for a while.
i didn't know how to post my bio.
i became a jdub at the age of 16. i had a child out-of-wedlock who was 1 year old at the time and i was searching for answers - i wanted my son to have a future and the one the witnesses portrayed was better than anything i'd ever heard!
Welcome sweet tee
my happiness and peace have increased a-hundred fold.
Isn't that the truth! I am happy for you!

ok. how many of you here still go to the meetings, etc.?
if you do, are you in the process of or planning on fading out completely?.
what is your "fade out" plan?
What a travesty that JW's who want out are limited to so few choices on exiting. Even those "fadeaways" have the risk of becoming victim's of shunning.

think of all the failed prophecies that the watchotwer propagated.
think of the lies and deceit they have fed us.
yet, they keep finding excuses as to why doctrine changes.
They are too proud to admit they could (and are) wrong. I hope someday the whole organization just implodes upon itself.
