  i know brent r. had a thread on this yesterday or day before , but in honor of my personal all-time favorite group, i had to write a few things here !

  if some of you have seen the u-tube of them performing songs with john bonham's son jason on drums , it was an incredible performance !

  watching their expertise on " stairway to heaven " and " kashmir " was like being back in high school again, like they never went away !

  A lady I worked with told me John Fogerty died. I said, "Really? I hadn't heard that." Turns out it was Dan Fogelberg. This is the same lady who pronounced Bob Dylan Bob Die-lan.

  If your child stole an apple from you after you warned him not to what would you do? Like any normal parent you would banish him from your house forever to a harsh existence. Then you would kill another one of your children so that the first kids could come home again. Why should it be any different for kids who make fun of bald people? To the bears I say! Sweet justice.

  yes sitting in pizza hut in 1991 a small band of pioneer brothers {me and friend's} debated when armagedon would come.

  due to the "generations" doctrine, we calculated 2001 at the latest...then the doctrine was dropped!!!

  recently the last world war 1 vetran died in australia.

  i have spoken to a number of jws since the annoucement was made about the private book study group being eliminated from jan 2009.. .

  the governing body were fully aware that writing "satan is angrier than ever" as the opening sentence of the letter, jehovah's witnesses would put 2 and 2 together and make 5.. .

  they were counting on this.

  I hadn't even thought about the timing of the generation change followed by the book study announcement as a distraction one week later. Oh those wily cult leaders- manipulating our minds to and fro!
