it's been a very long week.i have spent most of week in the hospital with my nana.. she had a massive heart attack on tuesday and it is not looking good.she has gone down hill fast since pop's passed recentainly.. please say a prayer for her.
it would mean alot to me.. morty

Whats so wrong with us
by brother devoted ini have read the topic "no trespassing..." and can't keep frm asking "are you afraid of dialogue?".
i thought we were in america where we have freedom of speech, i have the freedom to approach my nieghbor oin conversation and he has the right to either continue the discussion or say "not interested" .
this whole thing about wanting to erect signs seem to cut off the freedom of speech that america says it prides itelf on...what happened?

Put the shoe on the other foot. How would YOU feel if every religious group or lifestyle knocked at your door, interrupting whatever you were doing to discuss their religion with a canned speech? How would you feel if they came onto your property & told YOU their God was going to come down here & kill everyone that was not of THEIR religion? Would you find anything problematic with that? What if every religion did it? What if only even the five largest religions in the United States sent out their people doing it?

Sometimes Eminem can be a rude little bastard, but I think he's very talented. It was a riot! eminem all duded up in MJ glittery clothes, dancing like MJ, etc. I heard MJ is threatening to sue & insisting the channels don't play it.

Contrast of a Catholic funeral for 21 year old drug overdose
by gypsywildone ini had to go to a neighborhood kid's funeral today.
a 21 year old drug overdose, dropped off at the hospital by 3 scared punks that split.
an unidentified "john doe", clinically dead.

I forget-I don't blame you for being pissed. Why not dispense with the funeral entirely & call it what it was, just another boring meeting. What a disservice to your grandmother! But you're right, I guess he just did what he was allowed to do. Can you imagine the fracas if he had actually stood up there & talked about what a great woman your grandmother was!
Preston, more than who did for your grandmother, the jws, or the Catholics? Maybe the priest that did Nick's service was from a barrio in Arizona like me & had lived among drug abuses before & understood them. Anyway, the priest understood Nick, never having met him. So does the whole area around here, I haven't heard any sneaky little comments or judgemental slaps at the parents.
I wonder if most of the jws would even do a funeral for a drug overdose. The ones around here distance themselves or even lie about all the young jws that seem to go ape shit in epidemic proportions around here. I wonder what would it be if one of their own died of a drug o.d.
I'm not a fan of organized anything at all, but it was such a contrast between the jw funeral 2 years ago, & this one.

I did the same on Saturday, but a Catholic funeral that was full of love & respect for a 21 year old kid that od'd on drugs that the priest did not even know. But it was all full of understanding, compassion, & love. I don't think anyone would have been capable of talking about the poor kid at that time, everyone was too broken up over it. Quite a contrst though, isn't it?

Why did you feel any need to continue the conversation, or even take the phone call? You don't seem to be dealing with a real rational mind there, or one that wants to even listen to you. Why aggravate yourself & your lady? I truly believe some of these types thrive on confrontation.
Outoftheorg, that is correct, even the nuttiest of nuts (either sex) usually escalate the bahavior for a while, then quit when it doesn't get them the desired result (attention, connection)
Dirt Rocker, then what is you connection to this board, besides posting inflamatory anti-abortion sites?
If a person's self worth depends on external forces & approval, they may end up disappointed. I think Stinky Pantz has a quote on her tag line, something like "never explain, your friends don't need it & the others will never believe you anyway", something to that effect.
I still say living well is the best revenge.
