after telling her my story she could not hide her horror and said she thinks i have a right to sue the watchtower for not reporting amolester in the cong to the police or even disfellowshipping him , so that when i got involved with the religion (and presumed they were all trustworthy) i didnt realise that my child was in danger untill it was to late, someone should have told me directly what he had done in the past , and been forgiven for , does anyone know who she could report her concerns about the poor child protection policy in the relgion to ? not the police , because i did that and he did go to prison and is out now . she is also concerned about how they deal with domestic violence .

I can't take this pain anymore...my life at dead end
by JustHuman14 inmy life has reached to a dead end...i'm stuck and there is no way out.
i was inactive for 6 years and i'm disfellowshiped for the past 3. i would never think that my life would have been in this terrible mess.. .
i wasn't planned to be disfellowshiped by my "wife" turned me in to the elders for apostasy 2 times!!!

i am so sorry that you are going through such an awful time , i think you should leave and try to get shared custody of the kids and one day you may be able to convince them the religion is so cruel , i wouldnt normally suggest such a thing but your marriage will not work while the watchtower comes first , thinking of you x

is there room on earth for all the folk who have previously died ?
by looloo ini know witnesses think man has only lived on earth for 6000 years (is there any poof for that theory ) but surley there would not be room for everyone who has ever lived and died before armaggedon came ?
also i think its really unfair that totally wicked people like ted bundy , hitler , myra hindley etc could get a resurection but all the innocent babies in the world who have never had a chance to do anything wrong would get destroyed along with non jw parents simply because they have not died yet , did any of you have a problem with that as a jw , it was one of the many things that stopped me becoming one ,as it has so many flaws and is so not fair !.

what originally brought me her was disillusion with the lack of love i experienced in the congregations i have attended.

my friends elder dad liked me alittle too much and i didnt have a clue till he told me , i was so embarresed and felt so guilty because i really liked his wife and kids , the ironic thing is he told the man i was in love with (and he had disfellowshipped )not to bother coming back to meetings until he got over me !
i do not dislike this elder at all and actually felt sorry for him as he felt so guilty , but i dont think he should have been telling other dubs what they should or should not be doing when he had feelings for me when married and serving as an elder ..

dont guys get disfellowshipped for hitting wives ?
by looloo init confused me that my friend was hit and abused by her dull hubby for years and was told by a elder to just put up with it as she was warned not to get involved with him as a teenager (the best way to throw two people together , usually) and she did put up with it for years and finally left him and the religion at the same time , then 8 months later was disfellowshipped for smoking (i thought you could not get disfellowshipped after being inactive for 8 months ) anyway how come hubby was not even told off for hitting his wife but as soon as she had enough and walked and smoked to cope with the stress she was straight out , i think its sexist , anyone know of a guy getting kicked out for domestic violence ?.

how did you feel when you shunned disfellowshipped ones?
by looloo ini am trying to get in the mindset of my jw inlaws and trying to understand how they can shun my hub (their bro and son ) and not come to visit my 5 year old child (grandchild and neice) i dont think i blame them as individuals but i feel real mad with the ones who must make them feel guilty for bothering with us in the past but can longer do so in good conscience .
i never was a jw but how did some of you cope with the shunning thing and did you feel bad ?.

you remind me of what i used to talk like untill i found out that my child had been raped by aman who had been nothing but reprooved for abuisng a child and then went on to rape a few more kids in the cong before being deisfellowshipped for an affair , then i met him and nobody warned me! its so unfair for you to judge us all for being bitter when you dont even know why most of us are here , walk a mile in my shoes before you judge me its not very nice ! i think a lot of folk on here were once just as zeolous as you are but unfortunatley have been greatly disallusioned

by looloo ina disfellowshipped friend of mine was recently kindly informed about this by her jw mother , i presume they are meant to eat the billions od dead bodies , as my friend is a big lady she informed her mother they would get a good feed off her!!!
i actually think saying that to your child is a form of child abuse no matter how old they are and think it so sad that small children would be sat at meetings listening to that information and feeling so scared , i wonder if that information is actually accurate and where it comes from , does anyone know ?.
