i know witnesses think man has only lived on earth for 6000 years (is there any poof for that theory ) but surley there would not be room for everyone who has ever lived and died before armaggedon came ? also i think its really unfair that totally wicked people like ted bundy , hitler , myra hindley etc could get a resurection but all the innocent babies in the world who have never had a chance to do anything wrong would get destroyed along with non jw parents simply because they have not died yet , did any of you have a problem with that as a jw , it was one of the many things that stopped me becoming one ,as it has so many flaws and is so not fair !
is there room on earth for all the folk who have previously died ?

The WTS makes this "guess."
*** it-2 p. 792 Resurrection ***
Resurrection During 1,000 Years. A very liberal estimate of the number of persons that have ever lived on earth is 20 billion (20,000,000,000). Many students of the subject calculate that not nearly so many have lived. Not all of these, as it has been shown in the foregoing discussion, will receive a resurrection, but even assuming that they did, there would be no problem as to living space and food for them. The land surface of the earth at present is about 148,000,000 sq km (57,000,000 sq mi), or about 14,800,000,000 ha (36,500,000,000 acres). Even allowing half of that to be set aside for other uses, there would be more than a third of a hectare (almost 1 acre) for each person. As to earth’s potential food production, a third of a hectare will actually provide much more than enough food for one person, especially when, as God has demonstrated in the case of the nation of Israel, there is abundance of food as a result of God’s blessing.—1Ki 4:20; Eze 34:27.
On the question of the earth’s food-producing power, the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization maintains that, with only moderate improvements in agricultural methods, in even the developing areas the earth could easily feed up to nine times the population that scientists have estimated for the year 2000.—Land,FoodandPeople, Rome, 1984, pp. 16, 17.

As to the babies that would die at Armageddon (and were said to have died during the Flood and the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah) being dead forever, I have made it clear that I don't see any justice in that.

If you look up the latest scientific research on the number who have ever lived they say approx 106 billion !!!!!
No way could the earth sustain that lot, even if the desert blossoms, and there is grain on the top of the mountains or what ever, that is way too many peeps !

Maybe Jehovah will expand the earth causing the land masses to grow along with the blossoming of the deserts. Its possible that some of the resurrected population will inhabit other planets. We don't what Jehovah has in store for mankind but whatever it is it will be outside of the comprehension of us mere humans. We need not speculate but spend that time fully accomplishing our ministry by staying occupied in the worldwide preaching work being led by Christ Jesus and his anointed followers.
Just kidding folks...was just thinking what the GB response might be if it were one of the questions during the "Question and Answer" talk they always have the district convention.
Has anyone else noticed that they never seem quite sure of anything these days...everything is 'maybe', 'possibly', 'one can conclude', 'it is often thought' and other open-ended non-comittal verbiage.
