  sorry but that is nuttin but minor to what they did in rev....there are 12 uses of the name jehovah in the book of rev...and it is actually worse because they did REMOVE a word...which is jesus....and replaced it with Jehovah....i mean good grief...7000 times in the old testament was not enough for them...they loved the name so much they ADDED it 237 time in the new testament!!!! and many many of them are not even quotes from the old testament...even though that is what they tell you...check it out...not a SINGLE use of the name jehovah in the book of rev is a quote from the OT!! my raised in dad and elder since day one of that structure...and is is so smart and wise....even he did not know they did this...not have the other 13 elders when i brought it to their attention...not one has left so far...they can just ignore lies and falsehoods....because someday god will make it right....barf.....oompa

  Failed Marriages..."Born ins"

  it is impossible to unweave the complex cobweb of a failed marriage and totally understand it, let alone to generalize the occurance for many other couples.

  but, let's assume the case of a marriage of two typical jw born-ins.

  as far as jw's go, they grew up without major disfunction, still talk to their parents, etc.. in cases like this, how many of these couples are still together?

  oh...and my jw dad got my organ playing baptist mom preggo when she was 15 (the musical instrument like a piano ok?) ....she converted...they are still together...

  i made it until 21...and my first jw marriage lasted 15 years as did this one....see.....i like long term!!!!!.........oompa

  I need some advice folks!

  a few months back my then-gf (now wife) cheated on me with a coworker.

  ever since then i have hated going to work because i have to see his damn face all the time.

  i try to ignore him and not let the thought of "him and my wife together" get in my head.

  about 10 years ago i visited the three new york bethels - patterson, brooklyn and wallkill.

  at the time, i was still very much mentally infatuated with the organization, so the trip was filled with wonder and nostalgia.

  i can remember being told by a tour guide at wallkill that they were now so familiar with things constantly changing and being improved that the information they give on tours can quickly become out-of-date.

  one week before the marriage huh? ironic that this is the second post in one week about fooling around with somebody who is engaged...weird...and no i never did that!!!

  you already had concerns about her being romantic with others before you married her...i only wish you had known about it the week she did it...if you had...would you have married her?

  i think that is a key question because the only thing that has changed is some vows and your names on a piece of paper...they were phony because she was concealing so you did not have full disclosure...so turn back the clock and pretend you had known before the wedding...i have a feeling it would have been cancelled or at least postponed...

  as much as i love forgiveness and i have no capacity to hold a grudge...i would at least separate ASAP!!!!!!! she needs to think long and hard about how she could do that to a man she is so in love with that she wants to grow old with him and maybe have children with....

  not sure about it specifically....but i see three catagories...and what do you think is the specific one is????

  i fit in the first one...and you guys know what the deal breaker was for me.... (changing the bible to make it say what they wanted it to in the nwt...especially adding the name jehovah 237 times in the nt...or cgs....when there is zero ancient manuscript for doing so...even though rev says to not add nor delete nuttin...they added the name jehovah twelve time in rev alone....even though not a single one is a quote from the ot or hebrew scriptures!!

  and that is not right either....how did we not notice that we have the only bible around with the name jehovah in the new testament.....sooo deceitful about that) (and that is the longest parentheses of my life)...lol.
