I found that you have to make it very clear to jws that you are going to charge them. Always put it in writing. If they even hint
they are a little flaky , (which is most of them) then don't do any buisness with them. I learned the hard way when I was
young. I told my son to never work for jws or do buisness with them, he also learned the hard way. I found that if
a person never does anything for anyone else, then they usually want everything for nothing.

the wts perfectly. I just had two witness friends of my wifes over . We spent about 3 hours on why I know the fairhfull and discreet
slave is not the wts. And there are no scriptures that even describe the wts taking over as sheppard. They had no answers for anything
I brought up. They left with the same old crap , 'I know it is the truth" .
We discussed the Jehovahs name thing. There is just no way to make using that name ok. What finally got them was when I explained
that the monk that made the name up probably believed in the trinity, so it was perfectly ok to combine the two names into one. Basically
when you say the name you are saying jesus and jehovah are the same. Their eyes got wide open then.
Ilwill probably have the elders call on me again. The one sister started the whole thing by asking me what I thought of a talk about
the end being so close. you know , the same old crap I have heard a million times. Maybe she will keep her mouth shut next time.
As she headed for her car she said she will talk to me again about all this. Im not going to hold my breath.
B y the way neither pereson knew about the new changes about the generation and the calling of the annointed.
I fell like I have to educate the jws on the new information before I can discuss anything with them.

As a side note. At least I had a good sense of humor. I also wrote many captions to the societys art.
I would show them to wife during meetings , she would get to laughing so hard she would have
to go outside. That and I decorated the literature to suit my taste and I made sure everyone seen
what I was doing. Some made the mistake of counseling me, I told them that this is what
kept me from going insane from boredom that always shut them up.

I thought to myself many times during the watchtower study , that if I had to endure this torture everyday as
a punishment, I would just put a bullet in my head. I think I hated the meetings worse that anyone.
Sometimes I would count the minutes off, but then the idiots would just go overtime. I knew that I was
going to be tortured even more when they were on paragraph 9 and 45 minutes were already gone.
I finally quit waiting for it to end and just would get up and leave.
Many times on the way to meetings I would just get sick , literally. I was easy for me to leave the organizatio because I had practically left already any way. I can say that from the age that I could remember my heart was never in it, I went because my mother
made me.
I am a very outspoken person, and many times I would tell others that said they enjoyed the meetings
that they had to be nuts. When the elders came to my home to encourage me to go to more meetings, they made
the mistake of asking me why I didn,t like going, I told them that it was bad enough to have to go but
why do you guys have to run overtime all the time. I had the articles on hand to show them what the
society had to say about it. They did try to be on time for a short time after, but not for long.
It is funny because now I just think of the time that I wasted when I could have been doing something
better, and how my instincts were telling me that something was terribly wrong and just wanted to
get up and run. I just never fit in and I finally found out why, because the whole thing was illogical.
so here is one thing i have noticed, and i bet i was like this before myself.. so many jw elders have a sort of "casual importance" attitude at the meetings.
they nod a lot, they have those huge bookbags, they read those society letters during the meetings, they walk down the aisles during the meeting and whisper in each others' ear, they always sit in the aisle seats.
they give the appearance that what they are doing is the most important thing in the world.. even the way they stand, and their manner of speaking reflects that they feel important, but that they are "trying" to be humble even though jehovah god himself is using them.. for example, tonight before the meeting i was talking to an elder about the upcoming assembly.
Bonafide , it sounds like you have been in the congregation I was in. We had about 5 elders and 7 or 8
ministerial servants. They all ran around with suitcases full of books. All running around passing
out paper, all in a hurry, saying hi on the run , having to go talk to someone. Busy, busy like little
ants doing work that they all had created by themselves, more chiefs than indians. It actually
became my intertainment. When you watch it it is very funny. When you pay attention you
realize that they really don't accomplish a thing. The society knows how to keep the men in the
organization, just make them important, at least in their own eyes.
funny how these people think that jehovah will arrange for a backhoe to fill a basement, or a storm to knock down a tree that the city won't let you remove, but doesn't prevent his young servants from being sexually abused, or whatever.. (gag-me email follow).

The reasons I never believed this crap.
No way to prove it.
The stories are similiar to other religious stories.
I heard these stories when I was kid just variations, so they are at least 50 years old, and I thought it was bull then.
Even if they were true, the odds are that something good could happen.
If they were true the society would fall over theirselves to prove it.
The one about the hall and the mall is just stupid, what so called wordly person knows about a
kingdom hall being a hall.
I saw too many jws dying from old age, car wreaks, sickness, etc. Why would these things happen
to only a few.
How about the people who dropped dead right in the hall.
The sad thing is that most jws believe this stuff. Most jws do not have any reasoning power. If something
just doesn't make sense it probably isn't true. But I know we aren't suprised at this because they believe
all the other crap the society puts out which puts these stories to shame.
An example of gullibility, a very nice young sister has twins, they lived in a two story house , one of the
twins fell out of the second story window and was completly unharmed. She reasoned that the angels
had saved him and no one ever corrected here if fact most agreed with her This woman had been in the organization all her life , very staunch witness family, the
type that make you ill. Pioneered , they whole pile of crap, but yet she believed this. It just verified
to me that this religion was bull.
i am still active to try and help family and friends, so that's why i say we.
i know i have brought this up before, but i cannot get over the fact that every service group i go in, and every dinner after the meeting, or coffee or whatever, no one seems to be reading the magazines.
no one understands the doctrines of the generation, 1919, not even blood.. when i bring up one of those subjects, one in the group will repeat the phrase we learned at the meetings, such as "blood fractions is not really blood" or "i think the generation refers more to the anointed or something like that.
The problem for jws is that it is hard to explain something that does not make any sense. The 1914 thing
does not make sense, the 144,000 and great crowd does not make sense. The faithfull and discreet
makes no sense. It is hard to explain to someone why a scripture says one thing but it means something
different altogether. That is why if you ask a jw to explain something they have to refer to the publications
the cut and paste thing. The reason it appears that some jws knew the bible is because they could
do just that. They had this stuff memorized. If someone asked me to explain this stuff I could because
I made a point of studying it untill I got it down pat. But it still did not make any sense. The more you
you explain it the goofier it sounds. No wonder jws just do not want to talk about it.

it can be quite confusing at times, especially if some of those witnesses were your friends.
They came by my house a few weeks ago, while I was working outside. A whole small van load.
While a couple of the men were taling to me I watched the others going to the doors. We have
several homes that are empty (buyers walked away) You would have to be blind not to notice.
They were knocking on these doors, so I said can't they see those houses are empty. It shows
the mindless action of jws. The funny thing is the houses have been empty for a couple of years
up until a couple years ago I thought this was a conspiracy thing untill I starting watching the sky( something
we all sort stopped doing) . Over my area in northern ca. all you have to do is sit outside and watch the
hundred or so planes flying over very high in the sky, and you will become a believer fast. I am a weather freak
and have my own weather station, and two computers, of which I keep on wheather related forecasts.
Even when clear skies are forecast the planes create a very overcast sky by the end of the day.
My friends thought I was nuts untill they started doing the same thing, they are now believers. They ask
me why do you think they are doing that, my answer is , how the heck do I know. I have several
photos that I have taken over the past 2 years, they are proof. The majority of the photos you
see of these so called clouds are not natural.
The planes make many patterns, crisscrossing, circular , back and forth for a few hours,
then at right angles to what is already there. I have several high power binoculars and you can see
tbe spray dispensing from other areas besides the engine. I am like most people , seeing is believing.

I most certainly felt stupid. The way everything was done was stupid. I hated going out in service. I had a scripture
that I used all the time, 1 cor 9:16,17. I told told a lot of the brothers the scripture and it became very popular.
It proved that most of the brothers felt the same as I did . I could just never understand how anyone in their
right mind would enjoy service or meetings.
