Not sure the sister in pants is anything unusual this congregation. Notice the sister a few rows ahead in turquois she is wearing long pants. My guess is this is somewhere in Asia.
Different countries have different cultures. In India it is considered bad manners for women to show any shoulders but at the same time a bare midriff is acceptable - i.e. wearing a sari and blouse.

Any signs that Kingdom Halls will re-open soon or door to door work will re-start again?
by eyeslice ini've not heard anything from pimi wife about going back to the khs yet let alone the door to door work.. many churches round here have re-opened if only for private pray and i am guessing that things like singing may be a factor in the reluctance of the witnesses to get back together again.
i also detect that many older ones are still quite afraid to go anywhere they may come in contact with people, even for shopping.
on the other hand, here in uk you can now go to a football match with 70,000 others shouting and chanting.. the door to door work may a total different issue.

The door to door work may a total different issue. JWs at the door weren't really welcomed with open arms pre-pandemic and now any callers are viewed with a certain amount of caution. Perhaps the publishers would be told to wear a face mask and mumble some sort of short presentation and leave a tract.
Re-starting is going to be a difficult process.

'Make America Great Again' is a stupid strapline.
When ever was America greater than today? In the days of slavery? In the lawless days of the wild west? In the days of Spanish Flu? In the days of apartheid? When smoking was actively advertised and people believed that health warnings were a conspiracy. Surely no one wants to back to those days.
Surely what we want is 'the best America for today'. Those who want to make America Great Again are the disillusioned types who believe in conspiracy theories and lies.

Whose still on the circuit work in UK? Presumably, doing virtual visits from the comfort of their armchairs while their wives count their time making the tea.

So telling that there are no little children
by eyeslice inwatching in on my wife's zoom meeting last night, there was an item about discipline is love.
they played a 'caleb' animated cartoon and then the instructions were 'if possible, ask selected young children' several questions.. it seems however, that there are no children in my wife's current congregation so the questions were all answered by retired brothers and sisters.
the congregation mainly consists of elderly people (like us) and the few of childbearing age seem not interested in having children.

When my wife and I had our family, the congregation was over run with kids, all of whom shot their hands up to answer questions with one word answers such as 'Jehovah', 'Jesus', 'Adam', etc.

I think the UK has changed a lot in recent years. Twenty plus years ago, as an elder, I tried testing the waters. I left my 'holiday beard' on whilst I took the Ministry School. Another elder had a really good at me afterwards, so I shaved it off for the Sunday meeting.

Were You Ever Interested In Early Watchtower History?
by minimus ini also was intrigued by the russellites and the break away sects that formed before and after charles taze russell.
i can only imagine what the bible students were thinking when rutherford became the next watchtower president..

I remember reading 'Faith on the March' by A.H. MacMillan. This was not an 'officially' sanctioned society publication but was seen as a book that detailed some of the early history of the Watchtower in a favourable light.
