Just ordered my new paperback version of the book last night from Amazon. Should receive it Wednesday. Big thanks are in order to Deborah for making this extremely important book available online for the public and exiting Jehovah's Witnesses. And a big thanks to Mike & Kim for allowing themselves to be the conduit to let us know about it on this particular forum. Thanks again, I look forward to re-reading this book again as it's probably been at least 10 to 12 years since I last read it. Goodbye my friends.
by StephaneLaliberte infor almost 12 years now, i have been coming to this site on a regular basis and in the last 5, i “faded out”.
i never regretted this and never will.
unfortunately though, yesterday, i realized that, until i can publically tell all my old acquaintances why i have left, i will never be truly free.

STEPHANE- Nice to have you back ! I know it was always funny when the poster Outlaw used to post on these types of goodbye threads from various people - he'd always put up some funny cartoon and say " you'll be back , see ya soon ! "

One might think that he had regained his sanity as there's no such thing as being " anointed " in the first place.
" What could possibly happen " ?
Who knows, perhaps he'd come to see TTATT and see it's all BS and leave the JW organization and escape and enjoy freedom of mind. One can only hope

Above the Fog, Below the Snow
by compound complex ini live in the sierra nevada foothills of california; a selling point for prospective homeowners in the slightly lower elevation is what is touted in the subject title.
well, right now we are being blasted by a storm barreling down from canada, with hazardous driving and blizzard conditions in the offing, higher up.. as to fog, this photo offers a rare display of misty conditions over our lake, that after the last major rain storm.
it reminds me of summer days of my youth on the pacific coast..

CoCo- As you know my wife and I also live in the Sierra mountains a little higher than you as we're at 3,200 ft. elevation. Wednesday night only quarter inch of snow as the temperature stayed 38 or 39. Thursday night 2 inches of snow. Tonight- Friday cold as hell and snowing like a mother . 31 degrees and we have at least 6 inches of new snow on the deck outside and all around. Fortunately I don't have to work until Sunday afternoon late , but we have 4 wheel drive vehicles to get out. Winter wonderland up here right now. Be safe friend ! Peace out, Mr. Flipper

" Is he interested " ? Yes, he's " interested " in using you. Just like the JW organization he is affiliated with is interested in " using " people . JW members are just like the leaders of the WT Society. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree due to their indoctrination. He is trying to manipulate your life to conform to what HE wants so he won't lose his own JW relatives if he marries you. JW's powers and their elders do not look upon any marriage with favor if they marry someone who is not inside the cult. So if you do not want to be looked upon by his family as a " scorned woman " or as someone who is not accepted - I would run like hell from this predicament you find yourself in.
And no, it's not offensive to call Jehovah's Witnesses a cult. It IS a dangerous mind control cult and I highly suggest you do not join as they will totally take your free will away and steal your mind. If you join you'll be expected to think, feel, say, and live for the WT Society 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Follow Pink Floyd's advice in this you tube I post and : RUN LIKE HELL away from this mess

GIRL NEXT DOOR- Great thread. You asked how many of these C.O. ' s thought Armageddon would " save " them ? Probably almost 100 % of them. Sadly, my now deceased parents felt the same way and they were in the JW cult for 65 years or so. Now they're dead without any fulfillment of anything- other than being dead just like the entire human race experiences.
And I agree with you- think of how many talents get left by the wayside totally unused because all of these people are counting and betting their money on a pipe dream ? Very sad indeed. I wouldn't want to die and end my career as a Walmart greeter. Rather be playing music and set a can up somewhere for people to contribute money ! Take care, Peace out, Mr. Flipper
