Nothing would happen. They would not tell. No one would ever know and they could continue living in the way to which they have become accustomed.

Would that be like the pope saying he's no longer Catholic?

I think you overestimate what being annointed is. It's just another level to attain, a gate to go through for the purpose of keeping out the rif raf but at the end of the day means nothing it's an honorary club. If they had their eye on someone and needed them to be "annointed" for the purpose of promotion they'd just give them the "come in here dear boy have a cigar you're gonna go far" speech followed by "btw maybe you should consider "partaking" come memorial time old chap πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰"

Ulyss Glass partook at one time then stopped for some reason. Later he started partaking again. Never had the opportunity to ask him why when no one was around. He never was a GB member and I think they had some jealousy towards him for some reason.

" What if a GB member all of a sudden thought he was no longer anointed ? "

One might think that he had regained his sanity as there's no such thing as being " anointed " in the first place.

    " What could possibly happen " ?

Who knows, perhaps he'd come to see TTATT and see it's all BS and leave the JW organization and escape and enjoy freedom of mind. One can only hope

If they truly believe what they claim, he would most likely step down for some other reason, and quietly leave, or maybe stay on as a non active GB member in name only, so as not to have to explain it!!

I know two that after 30+ years announced that they had been mistaken. Some month's after a talk at the DC/RC, about how some had decided they were because of how seemly extra devoted to study of the bible, and prayer, also being deeply involved in everything service related!!!
