" Truer words have never been spoken- and yet- WT Society WILL continue to dig in their heels refusing to disclose their child sex abuse policies or release any information concerning WHO the child abusers are. It's because it goes up to the upper reaches of the organizations leaders. Has to be a big part of this. We know about the Greenlee's & Chitty's of the past who were high up WT names guilty of sex abuse - rumors about Jaracz- it really makes you wonder just WHO WT Society leaders are trying to protect right now. OR- As Orphan Crow mentioned what OTHER entities are being served or protected by hiding this information regarding sex crimes ? There's a lot of $$$$$ to lose and a lot of $$$$$ to pay out once this info gets into the courts.

And still- the GB and WT leaders remain arrogant and stubborn to cooperate ! This will start happening in all countries as it seems WT leaders are keeping this same tactic of hiding and avoiding giving out information in Australia, England, the United States .......... everywhere. So as someone mentioned WT leaders will continue in desperation to " play the persecution card " like in the " Bunker " videos trying to deceive and convince rank & file JW's that " we are being persecuted unjustly for righteousness sake like Jesus. " Let's hope that more and more JW's start seeing this for what it is - a criminal organization with criminal leaders protecting and aiding and abetting felony child molesters who rape innocent children. WT lies and deception in the media are getting tired to listen to. Let more exposure of these crimes happen and let us all do what we can to save children and expose this corrupt organization for what it is- criminal

Hidden message in JW bunker video?

so, i was speaking with a relative recently, who is "in" the borg, but is completely aware of the terrible hypocrisy from the gb down.

he is not in the box, and its great to be able to have a realistic, and logical discussion about the current state of the org.. we started discussing, specifically, about that bunker video that was released in december.

how it is being played at all the conventions.

DUNEDAIN- Great thread, I agree completely. What the GB is doing with this " Bunker " video is psychologically and emotionally abusive to JW's. It's complete coercion and fear mongering mind control tactics being used . I've said many times that the JW organization is a criminal organization being run by criminals. Now they are making criminal videos

Any regrets whilst you were in the Org

the biggest regret i have is of 'shunning' persons who were disfellowshipped and for 'marking' ones deemed as bad association.. there's no way i can approach these people to ask them for forgiveness as i've emigrated to another country however, by this post i'd like it to be known..

I've had enough..

so last night, after thinking "wow those pesky elders have finally left me alone, maybe since i skipped out on their jc invitation back on august 1st they've given up" wrong.. i go to check the mail and there's an envelope at my front door- lo and behold, another letter from from these elders.. why won't they leave me alone already?

i'll attach a picture of the letter.. again, same letter as the first one inviting me to a judicial committee on august 15th - and signed by all three elders.. should i just continue to ignore?

quite frankly i don't give a rats arse i've been enjoying life free from the mind control of the organization, and i just wish they would drop it and let me live life.. like i mentioned before, i am moving to a new home next week, the only reason these elders have my current address ( which happens to be over 100 miles away from the cong ) is because my mother gave it to them, after i gave it to her in confidence to forward me my mail.. so lets just say she won't be getting my new address... i don't have any contact with ones from this congregation (i'm an ex pioneer, so i'm sure if they've gotten word on what i'm doing, i must be satan himself!

This is a great you tube. It DOES need to be spread far and wide. Send it to all local news media outlets. See what happens. As John Lee Hooker once sang in a song and you can apply it to the WT Society , " Serves me ( WT leaders ) right to suffer " . This criminal organization and it's supported pedophiles deserve everything coming to them. Thanks for posting Freemindfade . Good catch

my wife and i finally finished steve hassan's latest book called " freedom of mind " so i wanted to devote one more thread to it in discussing how to recognize phobia's in witnesses or cult members and some methods hassan mentions to assist cult members.. on pg.

146 hassan states, " a cult phobia is a man-made mental illness that is an integral part of destructive influence.

a phobia is a persistent, irrational fear.

DRWHO - Thanks for bumping this thread up ! Great information about phobias indeed.

JW_ROGUE- I was raised as a JW myself and the fears instilled and put into me were great as well. I was kind of a rebel so I was going to listen to my rock music anyway- but the fear of having to live with an elder father who always judged me for my music or hair length was really a drag. After being out of the JW's for 13 years now- I've virtually eliminated most of my phobia's and fears. It hasn't been easy, it's hard work and it's always an ongoing process but I feel much more free NOW than I did 13 years ago when I exited the JW's. my fiancé is an ex-jehovah’s witness.

when he was 18 years old, his 17 year old brother was killed in an accident.

his parents having previously lost an infant daughter were understandably distraught and were therefore highly susceptible to an organisation which seemed to be able to supply definitive answers where more mainstream religion seemed to fail them..

Dear Ruth, in dealing with the JWs there will be no real logic, common sense or consistency. And very little real "morality" or human kindness.

If it suits their purposes they will use their own rules and "scriptures". Otherwise you can count on inside politics, grudges, gossip and resentments, and fear to motivate their behavior. They will throw their family under the bus so they can cheat death and get the "paradise."

I've learned this from being married to Flipper for 10 years and seeing what the JWs have put him through.

Hey TIME BANDIT- My deepest condolences to you on the loss of your dear friend back in 2004. This WT organization is SO heartless- it's leaders should be brought up on charges of inhumane crimes against mankind.

I had a very similar experience like yours. I was 24 years old and was on the stage at a Circuit assembly sitting getting ready like the other " regular pioneers " getting ready to go up to the mike and give my part. An older sister in her mid 80's went right up before me and gave her experience . As she sat down next to me she slumped back in her seat and slouched closing her eyes and putting her head on my shoulder ! She had a massive heart attack right there on the stage in front of 2,000 people in the audience. I quickly motioned to another " brother " my age sitting a few seats from me to help me carry her off the stage ( no easy task as she was about 5 ' 8 inches and 160 to 170 pounds ) and we layed her down back behind the stage on her coat as the other young brother tried to give her mouth to mouth . A JW registered nurse finally after 5 minutes rushed back behind the stage curtain and tried to get her heart going - but it was too late she was brain dead by the time her heart got resuscitated - too much loss of oxygen. In a week or so the non-JW family took her off life support and she passed away.

I ask myself the same question you ask yourself- WHY didn't I see through the veneer of the WT organization when that happened ? The elder who was giving the talk just kept everybody up on stage and we all still had to do our " parts " . I felt horrible for years that this " elder " didn't stop the talk then and there and say, " It's almost lunch time, let's just close the meeting with a song and prayer. " THAT would have been the appropriate thing to do. But, oh no, the " show " must go on. They did mention later as they broke for lunch that Sister Older one was taken to the hospital- but nothing else was said.

My theory on why JW's are always so calloused about people dying at meetings is because they are SO mind controlled to think that the WT information is SO much more important than even human life because they are taught " oh well, that person will be back in the resurrection " so they look at it as no big loss. Death is an " unreality " to many JW's because they think that they'll be " resurrected " - but in reality it's illusion. And then it causes JW's to be really insensitive and outright dismissive to natural human emotions of sadness and mourning due to the indoctrination of the WT Society. They don't mourn as normal people in the real world do because their brain neurotransmitters have been twisted and turned off to empathy, caring, and compassion. All due to the indoctrination. Very sad. They have no ability to feel TRUE empathy for themselves or others when someone close dies. Because they are told death is only temporary- not permanent - which in my opinion is a lie.
