  Verify the Audit Checklist/Destruction of Files!

  several people have asked if the audit checklist boe/destruction of files/ can be verified.

  atlantis said that if the previous information was not enough evidence, then i should send you the boe letter where the watchtower admits to sending out the annual audit inspection checklist.. .. write these down:.

  I agree with Atlantis that the WT leaders are probably trying to destroy evidence - especially regarding child abuse crimes within the JW organization. I mean think about it - Why else would the WT Society rather pay out 13.5 million $$$$ court ordered penalty to the victim of child abuse Gilbert Lopez - than to obey a court order to hand over the 23,0000 pedophile database that the courts demanded or refuse to allow Gerrit Losch to testify in that same case ? Or refuse to even hand over written child abuse policies to the court ? Because there are higher up WT people who have been appointed in positions of oversight AFTER the WT Society already knew they had molested children. So yeah, it makes sense that some of these confidential files on child abuse have been destroyed. as Atlantis said- it doesn't matter WHERE it's happening- this concealment or destruction of facts incriminating the WT leaders has probably happened all over the world

  Saddest thing about being DFd

  i always enjoyed being kind.

  when someone genuinely needed a hand or what not, it felt good to help family or friends.. i don't really miss them anymore.

  i faded over two years ago, so they long ago shunned me.i think about them less and less and have even forgotten some names.i did enjoy some of the friendships and the association.

  KAIROS- I totally empathize. I can think of only one or at the most two people who were JW's that I'd consider were " close " friends that I miss - however in talking with them after I stopped attending meetings I found the friendships were totally conditional in that they judged me as " unfit " association once I shared my doubts about the organization.

  Bottom line is I've made some REALLY great friendships with not only folks on this board but other non-JW's who accept me and understand me for the free thinking person that I am - not the mentally constipated cult member I once was.

  It reminds me of the lyrics in a Pink Floyd song off the " Division Bell " album which goes , " So I offer my hand to my enemy and I say ' can we wipe the slate clean ' but they tell me to please go fuck myself - you know you just can't win . "

  Personally I decided not to waste any more time on people who won't accept me for who I am. I'm avoiding all psychological vampires now. Decided to hang with only true friends. I feel so much better with the positivity - avoiding the negativity. Hang in there bud let's talk soon

  Do you need Art and Music in your life?

  music and art have been a big part of my life since i was a little boy, and although i was never able to play a decent guitar, i can paint.

  my art teacher from college said " i was the most imaginative and constructive pupil she had ever had.

  " i loved that comment, because in translation i realised it meant i had to work harder than other more naturally talented students, but the effort was always worth it.

  I definitely relate to music indeed. Watching Punk's you tubes makes me want to go across the water and jam with him ! Music is a healing force for me for sure as I write songs , perform and play guitar and sing as well. Just purchased a 1920's mandolin from an antique store that my local music shop in town fixed up very nicely for me. Learning to play the different chords on the mandolin now- totally different chords than a guitar. Interesting educational process.

  Love art as well - used to collect old original 1920's scenery prints from artists like R. Atkinson Fox and Maxfield Parrish- we still have a lot of them hanging on our walls of western scenery, mountains, hunting prints, fishing prints , Native American prints, waterfalls, rivers, lakes, etc. Collected from 1998 - 2011 or so- ran out of wall space to hang them ! LOL ! Got some good deals on really old prints. Beautiful scenes in art are healing as well. Thanks for starting this thread ! Peace out, Mr. Flipper

  stanford the trial of a jehovahs witness accused of raping a 15-year-old girl nearly two decades ago is expected to begin in april.. donovan moore, 53, of 2059 st. michael drive in lexington, was indicted in september on four counts of third-degree rape and four counts of third-degree sodomy for allegedly engaging in sexual intercourse with a juvenile in 1997 and 1998. moore was 35 at the time of the alleged crimes.. lincoln circuit judge jeffrey burdette has scheduled a two-day trial for moore to begin april 27.. .

  moore has been lodged at the lincoln county regional jail since his arrest sept. 30 on a $75,000 full-cash bond.. .

  Whether the perpetrator was 35 and the victim was 15 and she ended up marrying him - child rape is still child rape. It may very well be that the elders or congregation involved with the two families tried to sweep the whole thing under the rug as the news article stated to " save face " in front of the local congregation . The fact that , " Basically the church told her to not report this and keep it in house " definitely indicates irresponsibility on the elders part in covering up a crime. Whether that crime was exposed 18 years later - or not- really makes no difference in my opinion

  LISA ROSE- Absolutely sick experience your friend went through trying to warn the engaged woman that her fiancé was a pedophile. I mean it's disgusting how the elders pamper these pedophiles and malign your friend for warning the woman. As my wife wrote we know a lady on the board who tried to warn people and the elders counseled her sternly for bringing it up about a pedophile.

  As you stated the JW's are a " good old boys " club and women and children are treated essentially like meat and things, or objects to be toyed with - but not respected. Makes me so mad that innocent victims have to suffer due to the elders and WT leaders stupidity and arrogance

  A good friend told a mother in her congregation about a "brother" being a pedophile. The woman ratted her out to the elders, then made a show of letting the pedophile hang out with her little kids.

  The asinine elders seem to think if they pray with the creep he's cured.

  CHA CHING- Great thread. It has always been that way that the WT Society leaders are such hypocrites- they call out every other religious leaders alleged " indiscretions " - but never admit to their own evil ways and crimes. Sexual crimes against children or any other fault they don't accept responsibility for with people dying from not receiving blood transfusions, suicides due to shunning or suicides due to faulty child abuse policies- I mean it's a criminal organization- the list of atrocities goes on and on and on.   Are Jehovah's Witnesses marriages even legit?

  i ask this because of the circumstances behind why they get married and who they get married by.

  i know people say that they are really in love, they love jehovah, etc, but are these marriages even legit.

  i've talked to older jw's sister who are now widowed, some of them say that they were trapped in a marriages.

  I know years ago in my first JW marriage ( I was 19 years old, she just turned 18 years old ) I felt pressured to marry because it was the only way to " legally " be able to have sex inside the JW organization without getting cut off from your family and DFed . Of course we were in love at the time- however the WT Society's strict rules on younger people not having sex outside of marriage I believe causes young JW's to get married WAY too young and at that age a person isn't emotionally mature enough to cope with the adult stresses of a marriage.

  And then with the patriarchal rules of the WT Society there isn't any fairness within JW marriages - no equality - just the dumb headship " principle " which puts women and children at huge disadvantages. So yes I agree with you Joliette- JW marriages suck many times. And then the WT Society tries to control what kind of sex goes on inside the bedroom. I mean if my wife and I want to swing from the chandelier - what business is that of the WT leaders ? Peace out, Mr. Flipper

  however, there arose a third category who did not leave the organization, but brought a new view into their heart: jws are right in their core cause (gods kingdom as the solution to mankinds problems) but may or may not be right in their supplementary teachings, hence are not bothered about changes happening in this unimportant area..

  I differ with your opinion. If there were many people who " do not allow their minds to be controlled by the organization " - there would be a mass exodus from the Jehovah's Witness organization. The fact that so many rank & file JW's continue to stay trapped inside the walls of WT Society control indicates they are controlled through fear and guilt of leaving. So they are still indoctrinated and controlled through fear and guilt anyway you slice it
