The Question- Educate yourself by reading on the Internet. Many of us left the JW organization because it IS a criminal organization and cannot support it any longer. What's YOUR excuse for staying ? You enjoy supporting criminals ? Peace out, Mr. Flipper

Are you getting points with Jehovah for being on this site?
There is a lot more going on here than debating the bible (which is a bunch of bs anyway).
Like exposing the many crimes of the despicable watchtower. Like helping people who are being shunned by their entire families and friends.
Crybabies? for wanting to expose child abuse? But of course, being a jw you can't imagine that being anywhere near as important as protecting the organization. Or reading all your holy propaganda. What a sad way to live.

Millions now living will never die
by stillin inbut pretty much all of them are now dead.
and so are billions of others.
so, god doesn't desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance?

" Millions once living- are now all dead " . Take a look on any Ancestry.com account family tree and a person can see that's true
P.S. As well as anybody walking through a graveyard .

So, the Womens March ... What Is It For?
by Simon init seems like mobilizing after the election, which seems pointless.
i keep hearing demands for equal rights but don't understand what rights they are missing exactly.. normally a march is to show the support (and potential votes) for a cause, but ... votes for what?
... and the election happened already.. is anyone else confused?

Bless your heart, azor. This kind of arguing is exhausting and I sure hope it accomplishes something.
My personal view of the whole march is that the chickens are coming home to roost. The lower classes are getting desperate. It's kind of like panic. To ask what they are marching for - I think what they all have in common is a sense of urgency.
The new government has a good portion of people who think God favors them. Yikes. The poor may be thought of expendable. There are plenty of them, after all.
Some of the marchers have a very clear purpose and hopefully will organize. Some are unstable to begin with. Some are the left's Trump personality - Madonna.
I am 61 - my generation has seen the steady growth of inequality. A lot of us have been working full time, 2 jobs at times, have never gotten ahead because of the real wages falling. It was different for my parents. They don't want to see it - they voted for Trump.
Trump may "create jobs" but what will the wages be.
Overall I don't have a lot of hope for change. Look what happened to Arab Spring and other uprisings in recent years. You can vote people in but if the ruling class cant bribe or blackmail them, they can always threaten them.
I hope a little caffeine will lift my mood this morning.

Holy shit. The attitude here is a perfect example of why people feel the need to march.
Those doggone females and races oughtta be glad for what they got. "The left" as if it is one big homogenous entity.
Just check out the crap this new administration is pulling. It is pretty scary to anyone who isn't in the higher income brackets.
Down through history, when the upper class goes too far in taking it all for themselves, the masses get hopeless, violent and they riot.
I read and listen, and talk to people from all over the right/left spectrum. You can pick and choose excuses for all this but it's obvious if you just look.

This is just another incidence of how the WT Society through it's indoctrination causes JW's to NOT honor proper personal boundaries. It's really what mind control cults do. I subscribe to Notjustyet's suggestion to put poison Ivy or poison Oak extract in the lotion- might teach this single guy a valuable lesson- or not. Still it serves the purpose to show him to keep away from this lady who has a husband and who doesn't want to be bothered.
But like others have mentioned here- I saw this kind of behavior thousands of times within the JW organization when I was in it for 44 years. It's disrespectful and ridiculous that JW authority driven men who view themselves as " superior " to women cannot respect a female the way well balanced men in the real world do. I blame the WT cult indoctrination

Landy and Richard - it's true LITS may be sounding like a broken record here.
I think she has a very good reason considering her cause is to keep attention on the WT problems with sexual abuse, which then will protect children.
I'm not sure what your reasons are for being so tenacious. If you are jws, perhaps to get brownie points with Jehovah? If not, maybe just plain bullying.
Over the 10 years I have known LITS I have seen people try to discourage her - I think some people have resented that she has more heart and integrity than they do.

Hey - whatever it takes to get the message out about this cult's despicable policies.

TV commercial seen in the United States, from a Law firm "Asking if you were ever sexually abused by JEHOVAHS WITNESSES, please call".
by Dunedain inok, so i don't know if this is "old news", and if this has been seen, and or mentioned already.
if it was, i do apologize, but i feel i have to mention what has been seen on tv, within the past 24 hours.. first off, i would like to say that i did not personally see this commercial.
however, it was seen by someone that i can verify 100% is telling the truth, as it was my own father who saw it.

LITS - your justice streak can really piss people off , as we've seen on some of these threads. Well, too bad.
I for one really appreciate your willingness to stand up to the bullies - for years. I have absolutely no doubts that your efforts in your city have prevented further child abuse just by scaring the hell out of those creepy elders and their superiors too.
The ads put out by these lawyers will do the same thing by putting a spotlight on the JW coverup of child abuse.
The elders and other JW enablers may not give a rat's ass about the safety of children but they sure don't want to get sued. They are probably already busy trying to figure out how to put the blame on their fellow elders.
