I think there on to me...
by thebiggestlie inmaybe i'm just a bit paranoid but i think my parents may be on to me.
i hope i didn't blow my cover.... i was out with some jw kids and realised that i left all my "apostate" research and my notebook out on my desk in my room.
when i got home my mother was crying in her room.

Truth
by thebiggestlie ini imagine part of the draw of the jws is the fact that they claim to have all the answers and the ultimate truth.
it's true they seen to on the outside provide many "answers" to many questions but now that i know these answers aren't the absolute truth that i once thought they were my mind is now open to a whole new world of ideas and theories and explanations.
assuming that logically there is only one absolute truth in the universe (that in itself is a huge assumption but bare with me) then it is easy to get tied down and overwelmed by the shear volume of differing info and ideas available to mankind.

Ancient idols?
by thebiggestlie insomething that has always puzzled me was the descriptions of solomon's temple as well as the golden snake in moses day.
with giant angel statues in the holy of holies and the golden bulls and the countless other "graven" images in the temple that were supposedly god approved.
how was this not blatent idolatry.

Cyrus predicted?
by thebiggestlie into those who don't take the bible as gospel truth, is there an explanation for the prophetic prediction of cyrus as the one that would help bring down babylon?
this is one thing thats been on mind that i havn't really had the time to research and i'd love to here some of your opinions.
even thoughs that accept the bible i wouldnt mind hearing what you say as i am open to any idea.
