  So aggravating, a small (inexperienced with real life) group of men, can make a law (their law) on such fundamental expression as clapping in joy. They have hurt so many people on their shunning law. Now, are they pressured with all the media exposing their ice cold policy of shunning. Are they trying to show something different, only as much that the DF'd person can come back, and the congregation can "clap" now. Whoop dee doo!

  I do remember going to one of my last circuit assemblies (late 70s?) when it was announced not to clap anymore for reinstatements. I knew then the GB met once a week and wondered how many months of Wed. mornings. they had to come up with that change then, of all the concerns they really should have been changing.

  How do you feel about the expression "The Truth"?

  it's amazing how the expression "the truth" has become such an ingrained term used by witnesses.. "we have 'the truth'".

  "is he 'in the truth'?".

  most here have found out so many facts about the organisation, and felt the effects of being "gut-punched" as we realised these facts.. so how do you feel about the expression "the truth" now?.

  Actually JW "truth" is a mind-control "program." I call it "The Program" when talking to non-JWs.

  on 2015 Report, 17 "lands" (7% of lands) dropped 235 congs. Ukraine dropped 142 congs from last year. What's the story there?, government? Poland dropped 23, Germany dropped 14, Spain 12, Slovakia 11. ????

  besides, it was our first meeting in the new format.

  I have nothing against the music. Lilting. Upbeat! Then, when over in extreme contrast, will be followed by boring downbeat talks of the end, destruction, fear, judgmentalism, depression. Thus, the manic depressive order: "episodes of mood swings ranging from depressive lows to manic highs" and again depressive lows, etc.

  * the last money-begging effort increased donations by 15% for two months; a letter by a 13 year old who donated is read out loud.

  * since last may "so many good things have happened".

  Why have Aux Pios dropped by 1/3rd?

  I wonder if the org. will make a change to be able to make Aux. Pio. even easier now. Have the arrangement available 'every' month? Make a provision for "Regular' Aux. Pio.?

  Since baptisms are dropping so much, will they make it easier to get baptized. Maybe not require all those baptisms questions? Just answer the two questions at baptism?.

  so, spent a fair bit of time on the stats.. the 2010-2015 numbers are available here: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0bwv5uvzb3-67axpzavk0m0nttfe&usp=sharing.

  also there are spreadsheets of: ratios, peak-pubs, and the best is a combo of ratios, peak pubs & average pubs.. you can play with these by "select all" and "sort" according to your preference.. if you would like any other combination, i would try to create it and post it for you.. of interest:.

  as has been noted, the biggest standout of 2015 is the increase of only 18k in peak pubs while having 260k baptized.
