  Does JWs have a Personal Relationship with Jesus/Jehovah?

  Well I think it's hard to know for sure. However my opinion is this, they really do not have a personal relationship with Jehovah. Wether they are approved or dis-approved before God, how close they are to him or how far away from him they are, is determined by the elders and the gossips of the congregations. Not God! They are judged by humans (elders, etc.) for what they do, not who they are. If they did have this close personal relationship with Jehovah then they wouldn't be so paranoid when they decide to go on vacation and not attend the meetings, or allow themselves a day off from service. To me this whole JW thing is about looking good in front of man. Or maybe Jehovah is a dictator and does expect his people to obey a bunch of dumb rules and cower and snivel before his feet. If that's the case then maybe they are close him!

  That's my 2 pennys any way.

  Name "UNWRITTEN" Rules That JWs Are Supposed To Follow

  as with the scribes and pharisees, there are a number of unwritten rules that witnesses are supposed to follow.

  here's a couple : "worldly" kids in society depictions are shown quite often wearing their baseball caps backwards.

  jehovah's witness youths would not want to imitate that "look".

  If a brother gives a "comment" during a Q&A discussion at the meeting(s) and gives the incorrect answer. A sister cannot be called on to give the correct answer as she could very well be considered as "teaching" in the cong. A brother must be called on to give the correct answer or the brother from the platform must answer correctly.

  Don't know if it is an "UNWRITTEN Rule" or not, but it makes me sick none the less.

  Good for you! You should be happy that you didn't give into them and answer their perverted questions.

  They totally get off on this! I trully feel they get off when they disfellowship people as well. Perhaps not physically but it certainly is power trip for them.

  The elders in our cong love to df people. My hubbie was df'd and certainly shouldn't have been as is/was the case for many in our cong.

  I can't use health problems as an excuse. However anxiety would work. I loose sleep and and get so nervous about my talks that I can't eat and when I do eat. Well.... I will save you the details!

  I really like the idea of just asking to be removed as well.

  I wish to remove myself from the TMS. I can't stand it any longer. I am never out in service (i still turn in "informal" time) I still attend the meetings. I feel this is the nest step for me. Is there any way for me to quit the school with out making a big stink? I was just wondering what all of you thought.

  Six-pack abs are very nice. I have never liked the big muscles of body builders. I prefer a leaner build. However looks aren't important at all. What I find truly sexy is a man that respects me and values me as a part of his life. I personally feel that nothing could be sexier!
