Bill Clinton meant that '... "at this very moment," (currently) Monica is not sucking my penis.'
While that's true, it is just as bad as (but not any worse than) telling everyone that their definition or understanding of "illegal immigration" is wrong and yours is correct. Or that we must agree that the glass is defined as half full or half empty according to your rules.
Have you ever run for office? Like Trump, you are a very stable genius (in your own mind).

Dead Wrong (A Tolerance for Ambiguity)
by TerryWalstrom inwhat is your level of tolerance for ambiguity?.
ambiguity is a clunky, uncomfortable word, imho.. .
ambiguity means "open to more than one interpretation".

by Sour Grapes ina letter was read tonight in our kingdom hall that the money that the circuits in the indianapolis area had in savings to build a new assembly hall will now be transferred to the www to build kingdom halls in lands where they are needed and a new assembly hall for us will not be built.. we had a beautiful assembly hall near downtown indy that was paid for.
it was sold a couple of years ago.
we were promised a new assembly hall to be built in southern ohio near the indiana border but they can kiss that goodbye now.

The flock would pay $10 per month subscription for the privilege of seeing the Gibbering Booty in action with all of the wonderful songs and videos.
They would make it a DF offense to share an account online without sending in funds for each person, encouraging family to turn each other in for doing that.

An elder with only one testicle
by stillin ini happen to be one of very few people who know of this condition that the man has.
he had an accident several years ago with some power equipment.
leviticus 21:20 commands that no man present the bread at the temple with damaged testicles... so?.

Of course someone beat me to it. There are loads of elders that could be labled as "Big Richard" but with no balls.

Your view is not the only one.
The glass is always full. Even when it is half water and half air.I still tire of you insisting that it's EASY PEASY as long as we see it the way YOU DO!!!
You ask "DO YOU INSIST ON ONLY ONE interpretation?" right after you insist on your one interpretation.
Terry, you do that most of the time, so I don't get how you are lecturing us on it.In a Court of Law, you might swear to tell the Truth, the Whole Truth, and Nothing but the Truth, but then in reality, you are asked to limit your answers to YES or NO sometimes and are cut off on trying to tell "the whole truth" part.
The Jury verdict in the O.J. Trial was not WRONG. O.J. was guilty of murder, but it was not proven sufficiently to the jury due to sloppy police work and other stuff.
I agree with you about Jehovah's Witnesses, but you may need to continue your self examination a while longer. -

Could they have strongly suggested that the money would be used for new buildings "somewhere" but really never said that exactly? I mean, is it likely that they really only promised it would be transferred to the worldwide work and that money was needed for building projects?

Is Trump Doing Better Than You Thought As President!
by minimus ini know that some here detested him while others may have simply accepted the reality of who is president.. do you think he is better than you might have thought as a president?.
-

The bar for my expectations was set so low that, YES, Trump is exceeding my expectations.
Plus, I don't want to see a President Pence ever. -

Immigration is not what you think it is...for a reason
by TerryWalstrom inif somebody knocks on your door and wants to enter your home (for whatever reason) you are faced with a decision process based, in part, on your ability to suss out why you do or do not allow entrance.. agreed?example:.
"i'm being stalked by a madman--please let me hide inside" would be a strong emotional reason.
""i'm with a group of jehovah's witnesses, we want to brainwash you.

First of all, saying that immigration is not what I think it is, then telling me what YOU think it is.
I find that totally arrogant.Second of all, your over-simplification of the whole matter is way off the mark of what "immigration" is.
I would be better off with a dictionary definition.
Even understanding that you are trying to condemn "illegal" immigration with your sorry example, you remove the sympathetic human factor and act like the person sneaking in is trying to get into "YOUR" bedroom instead of recognizing that we know most are escaping a bad way of life to find a better one.I don't disagree with tough restrictions on immigration, but telling me I don't know what it is- sorry pal. If you invalidate my thoughts, then I am free to invalidate yours.

Is our universe just a hologram?
by frankiespeakin ini was doing a shearch on physicist alain aspect, and came across this :.
http://home.elp.rr.com/osiris/newpage1.htm.
the universe as a hologramdoes objective reality exist, or is the universe a phantasm?.
-
OnTheWayOut
If the universe is a hologram or if you are just a brain in a pool of chemicals being stimulated to feel and think and see and it's all not real, you still must live in the world you know according to the things you see and feel.
So don't worry about it.

Have you ever gone back to a meeting out of curiosity?
by stuckinarut2 injust wondering if anyone has gone back to a meeting out of curiosity?
(perhaps to an area far from your old khall where you know no one).
with all the changes from 2012 onwards (videos, tv screens, new meeting format, new songs etc) it would be an odd experience to be in attendance!.

I have had to go to a couple of funerals, so they were not regular meetings. But it was reminder enough.
No thanks for going out of curiosity.
