  technically, since i am not df'd or dissasociated, i am considered by witnesses as an inactive jw.

  i do not actively look to get df'd as i have family that are witnesses.

  if i were ever df'd, then i'd deal.

  For me I needed to have a "clean break", I hadn't believed in the "truth" since 95. I stayed in for my family, this put me through so much mental anguish. In 2000 had a break down from the constant stress of living a lie.

  After my wife left last year, basically blaming me for putting doubts in her mind. I decided that this was my oppertunity to get out. I could never live the lie again, even if family and friends shun me (although the parents have been great).

  I too am a single Dad raising my son, been doing so ever since his Mother left about a year ago. At times its a challenge, but nothing is more rewarding!

  His Mother doesn't see him much, every other weekend, phone calls are few. I think it has much to do with the guilt she has for leaving, seeing him is a reminder of that. For the time I raise him though I will be remaining single, for me he needs to know my attention is 100% for him.

  i came home from work yesterday and lo and behold, a faithfull servant of jah had dropped off the new tract!!

  i devoured the exciting words of death and destruction.

  i especially liked the second picture of the nasty harlot getting eaten.

  Well your son is the victim, since he is the one that is going to be punished. From what you posted it seems your son is having issues with the break-up of your family. Though you have moved on and are happy this may not be the case with him. So he is also a victim in that case.

  How are my comments on communication derogatory!

  Well you maybe fine with your choice, but you did say it was a shared parenting arrangement. Which means the father does have some say in the matter! Communication between you and your ex is key, each one compromising for the good of your son. You may not like the way he wants to raise him and he may not like your choices, but the sad part is who's the victim.

  I feel bad for your son, obviously he is having a rough time with your decision to leave! Both his parents have moved on with new relationships and he may be feeling a lack of attention from both. This parenting arrangement may be working for you be what about him.

  I don't think it was the decision to go to moves with friends that is the issue! Next time you may want to make a better choice in what movie he goes to see. I know "worldly" people who would have a hard time letting their son of 13 to go to a movie like that. I'm sure if it was a different movie then there wouldn't have been such a big issue.

  on page 26 of the november 15th craptower study, there's a lovely study article called always accept jehovah's discipline.

  in reality, we all know it's really saying "never question the governing body'sdiscipline".. it's starts out with the predicable "no discipline seems for the present to be joyous but grievous", blah, blah, blah.

  just back...fortunately only one day...9 baptized of 1700 in attendance..of those at least 6 were children of jw's...highlight.... do says the new tract work re false religion is extremely important as the gov body says the "end is near...very near".

  most just yawned...sunday routine is broken by this drivel...no meeting...there is a god !!.

  How often can you keep recycling the same information over and over, its going to get boring.
