The watchtower is not the answer but i don't think evolution is the answer either.
The universe and life and living things is too complex fot it to evolve.
i'm currently reading richard dawkin's book the ancestor's tale and it suddenly struck me that evolutionists believe all men are equal seeing that we all came from a common ancestor.
that being the case, would it not serve man to believe in evolution?.
turn on the t.v.

as many of you know, i live on my own now and yesterday was quite a scare since my bf and i are $35 short on the rent!
lol!
we are already 5 days late but thank goodness i just started my very first waitressing job and made my first $45 tonight.
You will get deeper and deeper into lying that eventually you cannot keep track what you said last time.
How long can you really fool your mother?
Just go to a few meetings at your new congr. and start to slowly fade away.
jehovah's witnesses wish you'll answer the door

... he holds the answer to all your problems.
Although house-calling is expected, Witnesses say they don't do it because they are forced to.
How many witnesses truly would go house to house if they were not forced to.
You cannot even get baptized unless you put in a reasonable amount of hours in the ministry.
If the Watchtower would announce no more door to door, most likely there would be an increase in their membership since living on earth forever is not a bad idea.
this doctrine/law is really troubling me.
i hated it when i was in and after examining it in my mind and speaking with current jw`s i am sure that it is an identifying mark of a cult.
i never really liked to call it a cult, even after i left, but the behaviour of jw`s in this area just bewilders me.
25 years ago as an elder i had to df a 16 years old, young sister for immorality, she did not show up for the JC out of fear and embarassement.
When i look back how cruel it was to do so and it does make me sick to the stomach for being part of that.

I feel the same.
My own family has been devastated by this madness of shunning.
Just this morning as i got out of bed, i was thinking how inhuman the policy is. When will it end?
Sadly you have to choke it down because if you dare to speak to loudly about it, you will be DF.
I wish the whole organization would end up just like Armstrong church of god and come to nothing, confess the stupidity of their doctrines and free its members.
this is a continuation from part 1 at http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/12/118445/2082380/post.ashx#2082380
ruins, desolation, a wasteland
the article next focuses on the previously mentioned pluralisation of "devastations" at daniel 9:2 in the nwt.
Good job
Thanks
hope i am posting this in the right place.
so glad to have found you all.
wow, i am speechless just reading these threads.
welcome and i hope you will make many new feinds on this board

in sept. km under announcements, loving provision from jehovah, elders are being reminded to make the yearly visit to all those that have been df or da.. make sure you have some good coffee or a six pack for them.. treat them kindly and with respect, the gb is very much interested in all those that they kicked out.
I find it interesting when elders do get a chance to contact someone who has been inactive or call on those Df or Da
it is the same prerecorded line how much the brothers and sisters missed them at the meetings.
As we all know once you are df or da no one cares about you anymore, as an elder for many years, those that left the organization were on the bottom of the list, they were not our concern anymore.
So once again lies on the part of the elders on how much they missed those that left the organ., they only try to contact because they are being told to not because they care.

posted this as a response on another thread, but i know there are people who want this as a new discussion.
i'm sure there are many good people watching these discussions who know you want to leave, but also know that this is what may await you - family alienation and pain.
if you haven't already overtly left, my advice to you is this: don't succumb to the disfellowshipping process.
Good counsel, it's best to walk away then to be df and lose your family.
