Hey do you know who it was cause if you do you can look up her address and your hubby can go to her house sat evening and try to push some religion on her. She would freak out thinking he is psycho and be afraid he was stalking her. That would be great. One less preacher out there. She probably would never go out again.

JW at the door...thanks for the tips...
by mama1119 inthis morning we had a fleet of jw in the neighborhood and they came a knockin...my husband answered the door, (as they would have recognized me..he is "wordly").
we used some of the tips off of the "how to get rid of a jw thread" he kept asking them if they were with the jehovahs and if they were a jehovah, they kept correcting him bless their souls and he kept doing it.
then, when they tried to place the mags he said, "first can i get your address?

Need to help Brother
by mama1119 ini am trying to figure out a way to help my brother get past the guilt of being a jw.
we were raised jw, pretty much your classic jw life and childhood.
i got df'd about 3 years ago, tried for a while to get reinstated in the meantime i did alot of research and found suprise this wasnt the truth.

Hey sweetie, go to the un site and print out the page that says the jw was part of the un for 10 years. Then go to the liturature (jw) and find where they say it is so evil and it will bring the end. Hand him all the info and ask him to explain. If you need any help let me know.

the elders had called us every day from saturday through tuesday wanting us to come in to meet....so they could df us i'm sure & probably at tonight's meeting mind you.
funny thing......after dropping off our letter yesterday before service time started, we received no phone call last night.

ok, here is my idea! since you know her go to her work and write on her car window: " I am a Jehovahs Witness and I shun dogs" or make a bumper sticker and put it on her bumper maybe she will not notice.

should I disassociate myself or wait to get disfellowshipped?
by Mrs.Congeniality inmy closes friend asked me today if her and her husband should just go ahead and write a letter of disassociation or wait to be df.
many months ago i talked with them about 607, etc.

WELL I TOLD EVERYONE I WOULD KEEP THEM UPDATED. HERE IS THE LATEST NEWS. AN ELDER CALLED AND THEY WANT TO MEET WITH MY FRIENDS TOMARROW NIGHT. KEEP IN MIND THAT NO ONE HAS STOPPED BY OR CALL THEM IN MONTHS. THE ELDER SAID THEY WANTED TO MEET WITH THEM BECAUSE IT APPERENTLY HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO THE ELDERS ATTENTION THAT THEY HAVE BEEN DOING THINGS AGAINST THE ORG. RULES. WHAT EVER THAT MAY BE. THE ELDER SAID HE COULD NOT GO INTO WHAT IT WAS THEY WANTED TO SPEAK TO THEM ABOUT BUT HE JUST COULDNT DO IT OVER THE PHONE. THEY HAVE TO MEET WITH A BODY OF ELDERS. THEY ARE NOT GOING TO PUT THEMSELVES THROUGH THE MENTAL ABUSE. THEY HAVE DECIDED TO WRITE A DIS. LETTER. IF ANYONE HAS A GOOD LETTER THEY CAN TAKE NOTES FROM PLEASE SEND THEM OUR WAY. I too was shocked. I enjoyed the thought of bro and sisters who bragged to different ones that Prince was a JW and how mortified they must have been to see him on stage singing those songs with his two hoochies on his side. It would have been great if they were dressed with long dresses and singing back up to kingdom songs. HA HA
Maybe it will nock down some people a few notches. In this org. people are so excited to brag that a famous person is now going to meetings and a JW. I guess they better be careful how much they brag now.

ours were contingent on the spirituality of the sister and, if she was married or an elder's wife, etc.
then, she got more leeway.

Not long after my divorce two elders came over for a shepparding call. One of the elders told me I needed to sit in a chair at home before I came to the hall and see if my skirt came above my knee and if it did it was inappropriate to wear. He then proceeded to tell me I need to bend over in front of a mirror and see if you can see down my shirt. He said his wife has some clothes like that and she has to pin them with a safety pin. It was also the rule that a sister could not give a talk if she had a slit in her skirt. Didnt matter how long the skirt and how short the slit. It was not allowed. They refused to let my brother get babtized because he did not average 10 hours per mo. in service. There is soooo much control over things that are not even in the bible. Im suprized they have not come up with the book of Jehovahs witnesses rules and inserted it in the NWT.
