You really made a good point. If my mother was still alive I would use it on her. I would think she would deny that the bible had roots from the Catholic church. Nice point though

This just occurred to me;
by 2112 inwe all know that the nwt is a truly lousy version if the bible.
when they started using the bible why did they not add their own writings.
i know they use the wt and other books but i mean, in the lines like the mormans did.

I am gladthat you don't use your real picture on here. That could cause you hardship. Keep up the good work, you should make an awesome model.

Well I have to say that some of the posts got me thinking. I read that elders or other spy watchers watch to try to catch some of the people that are starting to think for themselves. Then I thought maybe they would try to do something to shut us down,(so to speak). I wonder if they have ever gotten info on anyone on here to dissfellowship them? That is down right dirty.

I started thinking last night about when someone puts a link to something if it could somehow do something to your computer. Mine was acting up and I wonder if people from the Watchtower could try to make it unsafe in whatever means to get people like you and I to not be on here. I am not sure when someone puts a link to an article if it could be trouble or not. Am I all phuey or what? Dave

What does "born again" mean?
by Country Girl into most of the people on here, the term "born again" reminds them of fanatical christians who try to impose their beliefs on all other people, have an agenda (which is sometimes co-mixed with politics), and want to convert the rest of the world.
to me, born again is of a different nature.
it's different from my understanding of it as a jehovah's witness, and it's different from my understanding of it as a baptist.

Whats all this talk about being bored again. If you can't find anything to do with your time than you should donate some time at a public place, ..............................................oh wait its born again. Never mind.

Isn't it a big shame that religion should bring families closer, not drive wedges in them. Its too bad that the JW's can't accept any religion but there own cult?

JW's and Charity
by DaveNwisconsin intoday i was chatting with one of the jehovah witness men from work.
he is like a big guy in the hall who can marry other jehovah's.
anyhow i am wondering if i should ask him if the people at the hall give to the homeless or have an outreach program for the poor.

Today I was chatting with one of the Jehovah witness men from work. He is like a big guy in the hall who can marry other Jehovah's. Anyhow I am wondering if I should ask him if the people at the hall give to the homeless or have an outreach program for the poor. I already know the answer but think that maybe this guy would start thinking. What are your thoughts
