Dont know the answer to that. But I always had a problem with the new system thing. Ya know, the animals will all play together and stuff. The WT says they dont believe in evolution. So that means that lions always had big bad teeth right? So are they gonna have different teeth in the new system to eat straw? HUMMM.

in a year or less they are questioning their beliefs and trying to figure a way out without losing everything.

The WT is soon gonna have a big problem with this issue. If you look at it closely, the heavenly calling came to an end in 1935. So lets do some math. Anyone old enough to even be annointed and in good standing would most likely be deceased by now. Now lets take ( for the sake of argument ) that some have fallen away. This is the year 2006. Does that mean that Jehovah has been replacing some for over 70 years? The number should have been sealed a very very long time ago. Just another problem that the WT will have to face with the passing of more time. This along with many other problems is slowly eroding away at the core of its teachings.

This is very true, but you know I was thinking, they could use this "slow down" to indicate that it's nearly time for the preaching and teaching work to be finished (from what I remember, the taught that was one of the things that would happen deep deep in the time of the end)
There are many parts of the world that they haven't even reached yet. So if they stop the preaching work it would be incomplete. Most of the places that they have missonaries are due to the fact that some other religion has already paved the way in that country. Besides they need the "donations".

i've been wanting to post updates for awhile, but i have been paranoid that my posts would make it too easy to identify me.
right now i don't care, so here's what's happening if it's helpful for anyone else who is trying to fade.. first of all, as of my last update i was still hanging around some of the witnesses socially and it came back to bite me.
after that mess, i pretty much gave up on even trying to pretend i can have much in common with most of the people at the hall.
If I had any long haired, bearded friends, I would be proud to be seen with them.
How about bald headed bearded men? I can still throw a mean football.

hi guys, as most of you know i have been inactive for a bit ( august of 2004 was the last time i turned in time) i changed congregations in december and have pretty much faded.
last night i had a talk with someone and he asked me why i was still in, why not just da?.
my answer ?.
Because I feel dishonest, and I hate that feeling. I can not lie to myself, I don't want to continue pretending that I believe in the Society. I have written my DA letter, I wrote it a while back and last night it became clear to me that right now I want only one thing: To be out.
Being honest with yourself is something you have to live with day in and day out.
