  ok, here's the challenge: how do you tell your witness "friends" and relatives that you don't think it's the "truth" - without them labeling .

  here is yet another update on what is going on in my world.

  the elder i talked to a while back just couldn't let it be and now want's to have another discussion.

  he now wants to meet with with another elder from the hall.

  In a meeting I had with Elders I just told them my doubt and I hadnt ever checked apostate material but anyway they labeled me Apostate... Be careful with questions and dont talk about things like UN scandal or 607.

  Disassociate or "Fade"

  i know this has probably been discussed before, but i would like to take a poll of your thoughts as to what you personally would do, disassociate yourself or just fade over time.

  i've been in the process of "fading" myself since november of last year, (last meeting in january, and never going back).

  i have been considering making it official though by formal letter of da.

  Another argument for DA'ing is preventing against Homeostasis. Homeostasis is when you change your behavior drastically after a period of time your brain tells you to go back where you came from in order to avoid the pain of having a new way of life (or think).
  
  So if you want to left the JW and are still weak cause you just learnt all the Truth about the WTS but you know that if elders or your friends find about you they will convince you again then DA'ing prevent you all this shit cause when you send the letters its too late.

  i decided to skip the convention for the first time this year.

  i have been telling everyone in my congregation that i went but just didn't see them there.

  a few nosey individuals are getting suspicious and they are trying to find out if i really went or not.
