I believe that it is a Reticulated Python as they are the largest snakes in the world. Although it could very well be a Burmese

If they whimp out and start judging by looks it will be Kelly or Ace.
If they go by tallent Chris is the next idol. Longer cheers and the most "real" performance every week.

i know there was a question from readers in the 80's i think that asked if we believe in "present truth".

the answer was given that there is no "present truth", only the truth.

Yes and no DiamondBlue.
Yes they did give falshoods in the past, the truth then, But the present truth is still going to turn out to be falshoods also.
I have heard the phrase "truth for a time" also. Have you guys heard this one?

I too can see your point, but I was really refering to those like my wife who is still and active JW. I do know many who only stay because they don't want to lose family. It's sad really, even the spiritual elders know that these people are only going to keep family and friends and they really don'y believe all the rubbish. Yet, the elders look past it all and say "Look at our truly united and loving congragartion" Yuck!!
Anyway it is the active JW's that I see as "filling a void"
Maybe I'm wrong>

We have a lot of posts hear about the society's lack of substance over the past few years. As a result many dub's are leaving. Yet I have also noticed many dub's trying to attend more mtgs. and do more service. I was wondering if they are trying to fill a void, not realizing that the viod is from the society. Or if they feel that it is their fault for not being spiritual enough that they have this void?
What are your thoughts?

my brother in law wants to know::: if jw's don't have the truth then where do you go to worship?

i know i have heard this before from jw's but couldn't find the thread to answer him correctly.

If he feels "safe" and he is happy then there will be little you can do to change that. The whole "where do you go?" thing is so old. It is based on a twisting of scripture, but that is another argument. Ask him if a person from another religion felt as "safe" in their religion, and was even more happy and content. And this person was ten times more convinced in their own heart and mind that their religion was correct, would he still believe in his heart that this other person would be worthy of death at arrmageddon? If so, where is the joy in that, and if not then he really shouldn't be a dub.

Interesting experiment with your WT Library 1999 edition CD-ROM

this may work with the newer versions but it only worked for me with the 1999 version.. you'll need:.

1. your 1999 wt library cd-rom.

2. winamp (a media player program that many of you probably already have).

That is too funny.
However I will have to correct you a bit, but with love. Yngwie is not death metal, he plays what is called neo-classical rock. It is true classical inspired rock. The only differance is that Yngwie almost always plays at the speed of a Paganini violin caprice.(very fast). So it can get a bit scarry.
