  ive been a member of this board for just over four years, and i have never posted an introduction.

  i mostly stick to the "fluff" threads, because they are safe.

  i wont be attacked for an unpopular point of view, or hurt anyone elses feelings.

  I'm really glad you decided to start posting.
  
  LOL at the KY thing. When I was a JW I used to buy it as a *special* gift for the new bride to open later at home after her bridal shower. Then I'd tell the groom - (nudge, nudge) "you'll thank me later....."
  
  I can relate to the bitterness of lost opportunity. I don't really have any advice for that one since I'm still struggling with that myself.

  The End is coming Pretty Soon, Folks

  i have been inactive from jws since 2003. i don't post here very much -- do more reading than posting.

  but i just had to tell y'all that i got a one-page tract this evening which is an invitation to attend the deliverance at hand convention.. yes...the end is coming pretty soon because never before in jw history has an invitation or tract been distributed to a city not designated a convention city.. the end is also coming pretty soon because i was told at the convention there will be a lot of talks about noah and what he faced.. in addition, the end is very near because later on this year there will be several announcements coming from the society.

  i've gotten lot's of pm's asking me about the proccess that i use to create my glass.... it's kinda weird to walk into my studio and check out where i left off 5 months ago.... instead of asking me what each word means, just google it!...

  I'd love to work with glass as my next medium. it seemed way too intimidating to me but I think I'm getting more comfortable with the idea.

  What is all this about Smurfs?

  i have been out a long time, and i have recently noticed a lot of you making mention of smurfs.. obviously, i have missed something.

  has the watchliar sociopath society "demonized" smurfs somewhere along the line.. reminds me of the old fear of paintings of clowns, with big eyes, that made the rounds back in the late 60's, early 70's.
