i had a talk last week(by the way thanks to everyone who helped me out

but the brother gave me such "loving counsel" letting me know i have to work on the study point again: use of an outline beacause i was supposed to actually write out an outline instead of just reading straight from the script.

Ouch! just finished the first semester, you got a ways to go still. Can you get student loans and move out or anything? I've known a lot of people who work and go to college at the same time(I did), ask around and see how other people near you do it, otherwise it looks like its going to be hell for you for a long time. Don't fear the "I told you so", instead, fear being caught in a rut.

I always hated the outline bit. Just barely write something down and while you're up on stage in front of everybody, just look down at the 3 words you wrote and then remember the whole paragraph, its completely natural.

How much longer do you got of school and of being in the parents house stillawitness?

i was jw by 15 years, and i "worked" like pionner and ministerial servant, and sometimes in bethel, and i went to ministerial training shool too.

Why don't elders drop off the mags?

why is it that there is no arrangement for 'faders' and those who stop going to meetings to at least keep getting the magazines.

why don't the local elders or pioneers even bother to drop them in our letterboxes?

it amazes me how much time is devoted to methodically cold-calling with magazines in the door-to-door work, but no methodical arrangement exists for inactive ones.

Good point. However, would you pay for them? I wouldn't want to give any more money to them at all myself.

i often find myself playing george harrison's 'my sweet lord' while i'm at my pc and i can't help but resonate with his genuine, heartfelt devotion, his appeal to christ or krishna.

the way he opens and pours out his heart to his 'lord' is inspiring.

a while back, i went to a catholic church to see two friends renew their wedding vows.

the fact that in the very beginning god created man and then woman and placed them in the garden of eden, then he told them that they could partake of all the fruits from the trees but that they shouldnt touch his tree.

the tree of knowledgethat is like putting cookies in front of a kid and telling them that they cant eat them.

then he allowed satan to speak to eve (through the serpent) and convince her to eat and then she would know all that was good and bad.

I always had a problem with the whole scenario of:

God, "Look, I just made everything absolutely perfect. Score for me.(and remember, I'm all knowing, nothing gets by me)."

Satan, "Ohhhhhh....I am sooooo jealous, God gets the worship of those two people down there, I gotta get me some of that."

Later on back to God, "They did WHAT?!? but....but... hmmmm..... didn't see that one coming, best I devise a plan that will take 6,000 years that in the end will show .001% of the population at the time that I'm right."
