Field Service time
by crapola inhow many of you did like i did and sometimes added a little more time to our report than we actually had?
i felt so bad when i maybe had only one hour so i would put down maybe 3. you know there was all the incidental witnessing!
i'm so glad the pressure is off and i can enjoy a saturday at home doing nothing.it seems kinda strange that a person would even need to turn time in, just do what you felt you could do and don't be obligated to let anyone know how much it was.

Your car is a giveaway for your sexual orientation?
by gaiagirl ina jw told me today that mazda miatas are the car of choice for gay men, and subarus are very popular among lesbians.
i asked him how many gay and lesbian folks he actually knew, and what the source for his information was.
he admitted that he didn't know any gays or lesbians, but that "a friend who works in an auto shop" had told him.

I Need A Good Tearburst - Have Not Wept For Many Months.
by hillary_step ini have always been a sucker for a good soppy love song, .
last night i was wading through my huge vinyl collection, pulled an album long-not heard and spun this track on the rack.
though penned almost forty years ago, i have to say, it is still a very handsome song indeed.. coming back to me.

Something I learned from being born-in
by dinah inbeen thinking and painting today.. anyway, my mind started wandering and settled onto this: being born in has made me more understanding of people since i woke up from the cult.
i came here, met a bunch of other born-in peeps who immediately understood.
we have all kinda branched out in different directions.

The automobile has destroyed our country.
by dawg inok, so maybe i'm waxing nostalgic, or maybe i'm trying to make up for the hugh hefner thread that got me blasted by many of you...lol!
but i've been thinking lately of the impact autos have had on our society; i mean my generation is really the first generation where everyone has a car, my grandparents used to talk about the old days and remembered the first cat they ever saw.
in fact, their honeymoon was spent walking down the railroad tracks and picking honeysuckles.
