  Has anyone had Shingles???

  hello.... i was in the er last night because apparently i have shingles!!!!!!!!

  the doctor said it is caused by stress, which re-activates the chicken pox virus that lays dormant in your system.

  so i guess i need to learn some stress management skills.

  I had them when I was 17, the worst pain ever. They were right along the waist where my jeans would rub against them all day long.
  
  I recommend low waisted, loose pants and baking soda baths. Pat yourself dry afterwards, do not rub!
  
  
  Mine was sooooo stress related. To this day when I am very stressed I get shooting nerve pain down both of my legs.

  i loved some of the get-togethers we had.

  You know? I didn't love anything about being a jw. I did/do love my jw family but then would have been a constant with or wothout the doctrine.

  Getting Hitched

  i just want to share this with you all.. a few weeks ago, trev (dedpoet) popped the question, and of course i accepted, so we are getting married!!

  we have been busy getting things started since then, hence the slight delay in posting our news.

  we aren't in a particular hurry, as we have no desire to have children.

  are you happy you did it and how often to you have to have it touched up?.

  Would changing the word religious into spiritual help you out at all? I have NO religious beliefs (do anti-beliefs count?) but I do have spiritual beliefs. Very different to me.

  I agree with Kudra! I've had my eyelashes tinted and it was great! A really good hair and makeup consult would good as well ( and facials are awesome!!)

  Ear ache...help!

  for the past 24 hours ive had an ear ach in my right ear.

  my hearing is muffled and its starting to throb now.

  last saturday i went swimming in a lake and at first thought i had a case of swimmers ear.

  <<I was surprised to learn that it only lasts for a few years. (2-7-ish). >> Really? That's surprising to me, although I guess tattoos fade over time don't they?
  
  
  I've only come across 1 person who had it done. (eyeliner) It was well done but I thought it didn't suit her as it lined both top and bottom, making her eyes appear smaller in my opinion.
