  How Do We See Others On A Discussion Board?

  i have always had one "motto" that i have stuck by for as long as i can recall........to treat others as they have treated me.

  on a discussion board we can and do get into things that may get heated at times, but most of us can usually agree to disagree and be done with it, dignity and feelings intact.

  some folks have done some "bad" things and have dealt with them or in the process of doing so.

  Annie, could testosterone have anything to do with this aggressive affliction, ya think?

  Frannie, unless some women have unnaturally high levels of testosterone, I have to disagree. I've seen FAR more women become 'personally' hostile on message boards than men.

  In my experience with message boards, personal vendettas often have to do with jealousy, pure and simple.

  Some people become 'fixated' on certain posters. They think of them in a much more personal manner than they should. Some people tend to become jealous over silly reasons because they believe the relationship is much more than it actually is.

  Then when the truth of the virtual relationship is brought to light, all hell breaks loose.

  Dreams Reveal Alot!

  my dreams have always been pretty transparent.

  most of my dreams in my lifetime have been awful scary ones of being chased in the night and jumping over backyard fences and then flying off to safety.

  my childhood was awful and scary and lonely.

  Honestly, how many beers can you drink before you get drunk?

  i can drink about 8 or 9 before a get a little drunk.

  but i wouldn't drive after 4 or 5, not that i,d be drunk, but not to get in trouble.. does it show that i'm in my 4th beer.....

  If you keep on trying it, once a week, you WILL succumb to the dark side, I assure you!

  I've vowed not to drink beer before the fall semester, so maybe I'll give it another go then...maybe.

  I've never had draft; I bought a 32oz. bottle and attempted to split it with a friend.

  On a positive Guinness note, my rose bush seemed to like it.

  I find that the American-type beer is too watery, and is very 'skunky' tasting if it's not chilled.

  That 'skunky' taste and smell probably comes from improper importation. I have the same problem with Corona, Heineken, etc.: one batch will taste like a skunk's behind, and the next batch will taste crisp and fresh.

  And I can't stand a thick, dark beer. I tried Guinness a few months ago and couldn't even finish the mug...dark beers have an anise/black licorice taste to them which doesn't agree with my stomach in liquid form. That flavor belongs in a jelly bean.

  i think they can, and i think you can communicate with them.

  i told my mom to haunt my house when she dies.

  People generally get buried or cremated after they die.

  Seriously, I believe there's a good possibility that some may stick around as "ghosts". I'd like to think there's more to who we are than firing neurons.

  It depends on a few factors:

  1) How much have I eaten that day? If I have an empty stomach, I can acheive a nice buzz on three 12 oz. beers. If you mean stumbling drunk, I cannot acheive this on beer, period.

  2) How much did I drink the day before? If I put a few away the previous day, my tolerance will be up. It'll take between 4-5 in that case.

  3) Is it draft beer, bottled, or canned? ANY draft beer gets you more intoxicated than store bought, even the 'lights'. I don't know why this is. And it seems that bottled beer always packs a bigger buzz than canned beer.

  4) What brand is it? Most beers on the market are 5% alcohol. It doesn't really matter which brand of 5% you choose, one doesn't get me much drunker than the other under most circumstances (see #5). Then you move up (or down) into the 5.5, 5.9. and even 8.1% beers. If you're looking for a quicker buzz, go with one of these. Warning: these demand an acquired taste.

  5) Is the beer my 'normal' brand or not? I've found that changing brands can bring on more of an initial buzz, even if they have the same alcohol content. I'm not sure why this is either. I speculate that I become accustomed to the recipe of my normal beer, and the new mix is a shock to my system. In conclusion, no beer (besides the 8.1 on a good day) can get me "drunk", and the number it would take to bring on a nice buzz is varies between 3 and 6.

  a girl i met at camp spammed my text messages from aim.

  i logged on and she was afk and i spammed her with repeated "lol" and then said "now what yea thats right".

  then later that night she sent me another text through aim saying im out of my mind.
