last night i bathed her and used the blow dryer and brush on her matted fur, and she didn't even try to fight me.

I remember several months ago, you and I found out on a thread that we both had older cats named Puss Puss... I lost mine 2 months ago, she was also 18.
My heart goes out to you, we get so attached. Just yesterday I could have sworn I heard her meow.

i went on an audition last tuesday and found out just now that i got a part.
i didn't get the part i auditioned for but that's to be expected because i'm new to acting.

first of all: hugs sooner.... it made me think for a while about feelings we have to deal with in our lives.... how do i see it?.
Nobody is judging you and nobody is comparing you to somebody else. Everybody here is special and very important friend. Everybody here is helping to find freedom to those who are traped in a dangerous cult. It is not about deep comments, Its about you, who found the way out of the cult. Just by being and posting here you show to others that it is possible to escape WT and to build your own life.

my family were all catholics.
i think i would've been one simply because i was raised in it and even if i didn't agree with everything, i would still be able to talk to my friends and family.. i would think i'd be a catholic in name only.
"religion" doesn't get me excited..
I would have been in no religion at all.
I agree with Mr. Flipper, I seriously doubt I would have become involved in any religion at all. I really didn't have any Bible knowledge before becoming a witness, so was easy prey.
I think I would have been happy to just coast along in my ingorance.

for me, a non-jw, it was like a lightening strike when i started reading about the blood issue..

ok some of you will laugh at this, but it's true, there is a spirit that haunts the premises where i work.. it has spoken to me once when i was locking up, it was 1 single word "hello", i looked around and saw nothing, i ignored it, set the alarm locked the door & went home.
other times i have felt something brush passed me as i have entered the building early in the morning.
the experience that got to me most happened the other nite when i was called back to the store by security, as i pulled into the drive way there was a man standing at the rear of the building, in the split second of looking away he dissapeared, there's no way that he could have run off the property in that split second.. what do you think?.

My birds did the same thing in the middle of the night, it was frightening !!
Found out the next day we had had a 4.5 earthquake around the same time, apparently they are overly sensitive to that kind of thing.

Second, if they do exist, why are they so intent on opening and closing doors, moving around everyday objects, looking out of windows, brushing against people, and otherwise acting like morons fascinated with the most banal activities?
My thoughts exactly.... Good Lord, grab a pen and write us a message, if you can throw books and move chairs you can, at the very least, type.
Personally, I love "Ghost Stories", I am totally open to exploring whether or not this kind of thing exists.
When my first husband died, he promised to find a way to contact me, if at all possible, it's been 26 years and I'm still waiting.
