Yes I have had great sucess talking to the DUBS. Most say the UN deal is untrue and will not talk you. So I ask them to listen in while I can the Information Deptment and while they are on an other phone I ask all the hard questions about the Society joining the UN. This works because they hear from the Society information dept. things they would not hear other wise. Also I am sending you a letter I call my blood letter. I have had five different Elders and one CO read this letter. One Elder quit after reading the letter and all including the CO said I was correct but needed to wait on Jehovah. Check you inbox.

me and the deemunz
by katiekitten ini was lucky to have been brought up in the troof, because if i hadnt, i wouldnt have known about the demons and how they are always looking for opportunities to lead us astray by appearing as ghosties, or by making household objects float, or by getting into our house through items bought from car boot sales.. my first memories of the deemunz was quite early, say aged 5 or 6. i used to think they were at the end of the bed, and so i had to sleep with my legs curled up as tightly as possible, so they wouldnt get my toes.
i cant even begin to think what terrible things they were going to do with my piggies, but sure as the apostles i wasnt going to give them a chance.. aged 7 or 8 i knew the deemunz were after me, because i was special.
i was a jehobas witness.

I to use to be scared like that. I knew they would get me if I was not good. I finally came to the knowledge that it was only me that made the demans real. So I laughed when I heard other witnesses telling me about the demon attacks they had and knew all of the attacks were only in their mind but as real to them as the attacks that I used to have. Believe me they were real to me untill I decided it was only in my mind. They were waking dreams the dreams you have whole you are still actively dreaming and almost awake. No more or no less than this. Slowly realizing the demons were only in mind coming in these types of dreams did I get control over them and they the demons dreams went away.

Is WTBS now encouraging witnesses to go into business?

last few assemblies ive ever visited ive noticed frequently one phrase brother so and so, an elder, etc, and also running his own business ive heard this time and time again when theyd introduce someone to preset their experience and if im not wrong even once or twice when theyve introduced a new speaker.. .
ive also heard from others who have noticed the same lately though most of them are interpreting it along the lines well, it is just a good example of how it is possible to be a self-employed witness and not be part of this corrupt business world.

Any "Miraculous" experience happen to you like the ones said at Conventions
by soundbox_guy ini had to sit through those experiences at the convention, i was wondering, did any of you used to be one of those people on stage giving an experience about how something miraculously happened like getting the exact amount of money you needed to pay your rent on the day it was due?
i always hear the stories, but can anybody actually tell me something like this has happened to them when they were a good little witness?
and if it has, did these sort of "events" stop taking place after you left?

Finally, I found the REAL truth!
by N at H inhello everyone, just wanted to say hello and let you know a bit about my story and tell you how thankful i am that i found this site!.
i was never a baptized jw although in the early 90's i studied for about 3 years and was an un-baptized publisher for about 1 year before my doubts about some of the beliefs and also my inability to overlook the constant hypocracy of the elders did me in.
sadly it was not before i dragged the love of my life into it, and also my sister (they are both baptized although she left after seeing the elders double standards when it came to doling out counsel/punishment to their own families, he is still in) anyway even though i couldn't bring myself to commit to the org because of the crap i saw going on in the 2 different halls i attended i still believed it was the truth...what an idiot!

WTS and the mass media
by greendawn ingiven the extend of the abuse that the wts perpetrates on its members isn't it surprising that they don't get a lot more negative mass media coverage?
i wonder why that is, is it because they have helpful, powerful connections or because being so rich they can buy them off?
some extensive publicity in the mass media would cause them serious harm.

well, in our cong. service is now "expected" on Saturday.
by ?me? ina few months ago we had a local needs part about supporting the cbs field service on saturday.
it was given by a nice older elder, but what he said was pretty scary.
he used all the phrases and logic that are usually used for meeting attendance.

You are getting more to the point that I am wavering too, that is maybe, they had knowledge that we do not have today. The library's of old have been burned with most of the ancient knowledge gone. The third heaven makes me invision planets. I know the ancient egyptians thought that God lived in the Orion's Belt. I don;t think we today got it right today the third heaven meant something other than what we believe is Heaven. What is it.
