  i'm the kind of person who literally wouldn't kill a fly.

  any insect that happens to wander through my place gets caught in a glass and thrown outside.

  now, last summer, a bunch of ladybugs decided to move in with me.

  there are hotels/motels that allow pets and even ones that don't, its not like cats bark or anything, just put the do not disturb sign up all the time. we snuck our cat into a 4star Hilton once. dont you have a carrier for when you take the cat to the vet?

  i was always under the impression that jw's couldn't participate in politics because that would mean that they were a part of the world.

  yet, i found an interesting article today suggesting that some are involved.

  My dad was an elder and the job he had was part of the union. He always paid his dues, but when strikes would happen, he'd cross the picket line and we at home would begin to receive death threats and such. I specifically remember answering the phone (I was about 10) and someone said my dad's family was going to die because he crossed the line. Scared the crud out of me!

  " (the march kingdom ministry article discussing the monthly awake!

  ) routinely asked the questions, comments were read from the paragraph and there was a rediculous emphasis on the scriptures cited, even to the point that wt references were given that had nothing to do with the subject.

  you should start a dream journal, they try and tell you things but realy only you can interpret them, its easier if you notice a pattern in them

  i really dont know but i have read both opinions on this forum.

  many in my fam are in but we never talk about their religion, except when they invite me to some meeting, or the memorial, assembly etc.

  I read that too, and had forgotten all about it. whenever i go to my parents house i always check out the KM for any interesting info and i thought that was pretty funny. i also noticed that they now have a script for service, i thought that was weird, might as well bring the phonograph back.

  here's my question: if the faithful and discreet slave is a messenger for truth why is the only mention of them in the bible in the form of a parable?

  why only one time(in two parallel accounts)?
