I hope not, people, myself included who make unwise investments should have to accept their responsibility and not put it off on the rest of society to cover their ass. Not to awful long ago, a good friend, wanted us to buy a house we knew we couldn't afford and when we told them that, they said its okay they won't check your income etc to see if you really can afford it. they will just accept your word, well we told this so called friend no thanks won't do that, won't put my self in the position of having to lose my house because i got greedy and wanted a place I couldn't afford. That being said those that made that kind of decision shouldn't be bailed out, they should be made to be responsible for the decision they made, I mean what in the hell is happening in America, People no longer responsible for their actions????

Further Education - WTS ups the pressure
by dozy inthe wts are upping their opposition to further education.. at our recent co visit , much of a talk on youth concerned the evils of college & university education.. the meeting of the elders & ms included a similar but harder line section , stating that the appointed men should set an example.
the question was raised does an elder continue to qualify for his privilege if he , his wife , or his child goes to further education.
what attitude is he showing regarding the fds stated view on this matter?.

The rectum circles at the society, think they have the right to establish laws of God. Matt. 15:9; now they believe they have taken gods place. how discreet and humble huh?

after having several children who participated in childhood sports, the only thing I ever found wrong was the way some parents acted at the games.

tough seminar, emotionally charged
by chickpea ini am just finished with day 1 of a 2 day training seminar with the state chapter of madd...... sitting in a room of 30 people, fully one third have lost a first degree relative in a drunk driving collision.
the women i sat between had each lost a son..... one's son would have been 31 next week had he not been killed at 1 and the other lost her 18 year old son 2 years ago, an elite football player, honor roll student well liked and deeply mourned by his schoolmates, coaches and teachers..... killed by a serial offender who never finished highschool .... two other teens were seriously injured but survived.... he was sentenced to 26 years...... my state, the self-proclaimed beer and bratwurst capitol of the world, is dead last in the dots report on progress being made in reduction of alcohol related deaths from traffic collisions.

good movie star, president of the NRA at one time, I also am a member, and president of the screen actors guild if I remember correctly. He was suffering from alzeheimers (spelling) Married to the same woman since 1944 and that happens very rarely in Hollywood. He will be missed will have to watch some of his shows that will be coming on the movie channels now that he has passed.

The drama sounds like just another myth made up by the unfaithful and indiscreet assholes in Bethel. Anything to try and direct R&F to keep handing out the money!

Amazing abuse of privacy...
by CaptainSchmideo inmy sister and her husband live in another city/state from me, so i don't get to see them that often.
he's a ministerial servant, they have two young children.
i heard a story that happened to them recently.... he was taken aside by an elder, who wanted to inspect his bag to see how many toys they were bringing to the meeting for their daughter to play with.. apparently, someone complained!.

Hebrews 5: 12-14 speaks of milk and thats what children need, not the Nazi like atmosphere surrounding them and the Public meeting, Wt study, theo school and bs nonsense. They are expected to act like adults not children. Maybe the GB should get off of their asses and come up with progrmas for children so they can hear something at least on their level. Its like sending a 3rd grader to High School and expecting them to act like like they were young adults. Just Stupid.
