Sorry I could not make this post ealier than this but things have been a little rough around our neck of the woods here lately.
Where to start, my daughter was admitted to the hospital about 3 weeks ago with a kidney infection. She stayed for a few days and the doctors were concerned that she may have had appendictis.
Last week, Cassi was admitted to the hospital once again due to infection getting worse. She stayed in the hospital for a few days too. She continues to see the doctor about 2-3 times a week which has been going on for quite some time now. She may need surgery again in the near future. She has been in and out of the hospital for weeks now.
On top of the trips to the doctor and hospitals, the Army isn't making my life very easy either with all the events going on in the world.
Did I mention that I am also trying to finish college?
Oh, and there is a hurricane here, just to top it all off.
Thank you all for your concern for us. You all are a bunch of great friends and Cassi and I love you all. Thanks again.

Sending/taking lambs to the March
by Lady Lee inin bill's initial post about getting ready for the march he mentioned that if anyone could not go but wanted to send a lamb for the march to find someone who was going and was willing to take them to leave in front of bethel .
i have three small lambs.
one for my sister (who has left the jws but suffers greatly due to the abuse) .

What about this idea? Someone drive a car behide the march stuffed the the top with lambs. When the march arrives at its destination, everyone can begin taking the lambs out of the car and place them on the destinations door step.
Just a though.
Could also place a tag on each lamb letting the WT know that it represents an individual.

Kudos to Tony Blair, UK PM
by Amazing in... not because he supports action regarding iraq, for that is a debatable issue.
rather, it is because tony blair has proven to be a stand-up statesman who has been able to work well with two very different us administrations, clinton then bush ... while keeping his own moral clarity and vision.
if tony blair represents the majority of british sentiments, then the usa can thank its lucky stars as having such a close friend and ally ... and americans need to better appreciate our british brethern.

Well said amazing!!!
Americans need to better appreciate our British brethern.
I suppose this includes you too Simon. LOL
I appreciate all of the American allies and friends. With me being in the United States Army, I may need to depend on them one day to save my life in combat. I would definitely do the same for them. I look foward to the day that I get a chance to work with our British allies so that we may exchange experiences and learn from one another.

could your son be gay???
by searchfothetruth inhow would you react if doctors come up with a test that could determine if your son would turn out to be gay when he grows up?
how would you react?
i personally, having two young sons myself, would not want to know.

Homo, hetro, or bi really doesn't matter to me. I have some gay friends and they are some really interesting people (funny too). I simply try not to judge a book by its cover and let everyone be people.
If science could determine if my un-born childs sexual preference, would I want to know? No, I don't think so. I would rather let my child grow up and determine that for them self and I would just figure it out sooner or later.
My question is why is it that most of American society will watch 2 women having sex and not 2 men? Not that I personally want to watch 2 men, I just don't know the answer to the question. This is just one of the strange statistics that I have been gathering for many years (Don't mind me, I am just weird).
I think that part of this answer is that American society has accepted the female body as beauty while the male body gets a beer gut.

QUESTION of Rave music
by FiveShadows inok...i went to the edge about my music selection...and i'm trying to change it not because an elder or brother is telling me..but because i'm trying to get away from the "aggressive" "anger" sounding music such as rock...metal and all that junk...this is a personal decision and i am not a jw anymore from those that can remember...but my question to all the freaks geeks and streakers out there...i'm starting to get into alice deejay music...trance...does anyone else know of any good trance artists?
the "metallica" of trance music besides alice deejay.

If you get a good MP3 file sharing program, which I don't like but I have two teenage daughters that love music, such as Kazaa or Morpheus, which are free to download, these are equiped with a search engine. Type in anything like trance, dance, etc. and the results will be listed for you to download. Got to watch out for viruses and trojans though. But on the bright side, they are all FREE!

I'm not sure if this is a good habit or not but I can lick my eyebrow!
On a serious note, I have serveral good habits. 1) I treat others as I would want to be treated. 2) I work very hard to take care of my family. 3) I protect my family. 4) I love my family. 5) See number 4.

Women. Periods, and how to cope with them .....
by Celtic inputs plugs in his ears from the start.. now, it don't seem to be my imagination, but many ladies for some inexplicable reason seem a tad unreasonable at least once a month where anything i do seems to be wrong in their eyes.
