  i got a phone call from a person that i gave my phone # to.

  and this person said that gays are not welcome here and this is not what this board was really about.

  i told them that this is only one part of the crap that the wts did to people and that we are people too.

  I'm sorry that you had to endure such abuse. I can't imagine why he thinks he has the authority to order a whole group of people off this board. It sounds like this man has some deep psychological issues that need to be addressed.

  I feel sorry for him as he is very unhappy. I think he has closeted feelings that are tearing him apart. Just lets give him some compassion.

  I'm touched that you are able to show such compassion to this man. You sound like a really great person and I'm glad that you are on this board. :)

  What a vile, insensitive little creep. His comments literally made my stomach turn. I'm so sorry that you were subjected to such abuse.

  I've received similar messages on Myspace from JWs. They all seem to have the same hit and run routine - they send a nasty, curse-filled email, block you before you can reply and then set their profiles to private. Odd behavior for people who are supposed to be fearless in the face of "persecution".

  Kudos to you and all the others who have found the strength to go public with your stories of abuse and mistreatment by JWs.

  Ugh, that's nasty!!!

  Dogs lick their butts, eat nasty stuff out in the yard and on occasion will eat poo. Why would any sane person let a dog lick a child's diaper rash? Yuck!

  I work with dogs. It is a complete myth that dog saliva is medicinal. Dogs can carry many different bacterias that can make someone ill especially young children and people with weakened immune systems.

  Rosie's actions are just plain dirty and disgusting and she needs to be paid a visit by Children's Services immediately. God only knows what else is going on in her house. Those poor kids.

  i know a lot of christians, not just jws, don't feel comfortable celebrating halloween.

  for me, it's just an excuse to have fun.

  I love Halloween, it's one of my favorite holidays. I haven't been to a Halloween party yet but last year I dressed up as a witch and handed out candy to the neighborhood kids.

  How many hours do your work a week?

  just curious.

  i work between 50-to 65 hours a week, sometimes 70. in fact i don't of anyone in the company i work for that works less then 48. does anyone here work a "normal" 40 hour week?

  does it even exist anymore?.

  What in the world are you people doing for work? Are you working 2 jobs or something?

  I have never had a job that required me to work over 40 hours. I have agreed on occasion to work extra hours if there is an emergency, a deadline or I need extra cash but I would never take a job that required me to work 50+ hours a week.

  Life's too short to work that hard.

  well i am convinced i know how the stars are treated.

  being considered an apostate by just about everyone in the circuit, and now, tonight i find that the neighboring circuit is talking of our apostacy as well.

  (mind you we are not d'fd, nor have we d'ad ourselves.

  We haven't Df'd or Da'd and we've experienced this as well.

  According to the JW rumor mill I :

  • Started my own religion
  • Baptized people in my bathtub
  • put apostate ideas into the heads of local JW children
  • stumbled the JWs because I put up Christmas lights
  • made the JW children want to celebrate Christmas
  • distributed apostate literature to every single person in the tri-state area
  • am demon-possessed
  • am responsible for the growth of a local church
  • am a pagan who puts spells on JW
  • am a devout Baptist
  • left the JWs because I don't want my husband to have any friends or family
  • don't have any friends
  • have banded all my worldly friends together to give the JWs trouble in field service
  • am responsible for every person who decided they no longer want to attend meetings

  I get a good laugh every time I hear a new rumor. I wish I had an ounce of the power and influence that they seem to think I have.

  Will apostates burn in Gehenna???

  i seem to recall the wts teaching this many years ago.

  the idea was that "apostacy" was the ultimate, unforgiveable sin, because it was.

  tantamount to "sinning against the holy spirit".....does anyone recall hearing this idea, that "apostates", along with our buddy satan, will suffer.

  JWs don't believe in the Holy Spirit so how can an ex-JW sin against it? In my opinion, JWs are the real apostates.

  I remember hearing that. It makes me laugh now because the idea of non-Christians threatening other non-Christians with a Christian punishment is ridiculous.
