For everyone it is different. I just left, just never went back. I got up one day and said to myself I was never going back again and I did just that. But for some they prefer to fade as the shunning they get from leaving is to much to handle. So it depends on you and how you feel comfortable.

How did you find this site?
by truthseeker init seems as though an age has passed from discovering this site seven years ago to where i am now.
just before we started studying the daniel's prophecy book, i went online to see if anyone had made a study bookmark with the dates and paragraphs on.
i "stumbled" across this site, way back in 2000. of course, like a good christian i pretty much determined that this site had gone apostate from the other jw sites, such.

Hi Marsha,
We do a lot of things here like we try to help those who are coming out or are researching the religion. Some members have serious issues coming from the watchtower abuse they suffer, sometimes we have fluff threads and that's a good thing cause it breaks up the all the crazyness of life . We teach others the real truth about the society and we learn stuff too.
Some here have become very good friends and some have even got married from here. It's a great place I think for all so many reasons.

One of my best friends right now suffers from a stroke caused by hitting his head on a curb while riding his motorcycle. It caused a blood clot in his brain, so for all you joksters out their in JWD land it is a serious issue and has been proven that while riding , wearing your helmet saves more lives than those who don't.

I watched a program last week on the History channel about Christianity in Israel. They say that other religions than the Jewish faith are not allowed to publicly speak out that it is dangerous for a christian to preach openly.
